Teresa Giudice Opens About Heartbreaking Day And Why Jacqueline May Be Lying!

Teresa Giudice has allowed the Bravo cameras to capture some very sensitive and emotional moments in her life, including the day she turned herself in to serve just under a year at the Danbury Correctional Facility. And it was no different when Joe Giudice turned himself in to the Fort Dix prison to serve his 41 months. His own surrender was caught on cameras for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and it was clearly a heartbreaking moment for the Giudice family. Their daughters were watching from the windows and Teresa drove with him to the prison.

According to a new Bravo report, Teresa Giudice is now revealing what it was like to see her husband turn himself in and how she felt about going home alone to her massive home. Of course, one can imagine that this was one of the toughest days of her life. While Teresa only spent about 11 months behind bars, Joe is expected to serve 41 months – out of which he may get a few months off for good behavior.

“That last morning was one of the worst of my life. Joe and I spent as much time alone together as we could before people came over to the house to say goodbye,” Teresa Giudice revealed on her Bravo blog after watching the devastating goodbye between herself and her husband.

The two hugged outside of their home, which was the picture that quickly surfaced in the media. It was also this picture that her co-stars got to see. Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe, had driven over to Teresa’s home so they could be there for her as she said goodbye to her husband. They watched the children as Giudice drove with her husband to Fort Dix, which is located in New Jersey. Teresa had planned to stay at home with her daughters, but when she got the opportunity to go with her husband to Fort Dix, she jumped in the car and rode with him.

“I wasn’t planning on driving with Joe to the prison but ended up going at the last minute. It was too hard for me to say goodbye to him at the house. I wanted to be with him up until the moment when he had to walk into the prison doors. I wanted to see him go in myself. I wanted to make sure he was safe,” Teresa Giudice reveals, sharing that it took forever before she could talk to him again once he was inside.

On The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giudice revealed that she waited hours before hearing from him again. As she knows, the prison guards have to register Joe, and he is placed in a cell without any phone privileges for a while. She won’t be able to call him, so Teresa had to get an update from her lawyer. On the show, Teresa got support from her co-stars, but Jacqueline Laurita didn’t reach out. And while Giudice appreciates her tears after seeing her goodbye with Joe, Teresa wonders if she’s being completely honest about her feelings.

“One person who doesn’t seem like she’s supporting me too much these days is, of course, Jacqueline. She said on the show that she got teary-eyed when she saw pictures of me saying goodbye to Joe. At first I thought that was nice, but then I wondered if that was just her being fake. But in the end, who cares? She and I are done. I wish her and her family well. I just want her to leave me and my family alone,” Teresa Giudice points out on her blog for Bravo, revealing that she clearly doesn’t know where Laurita stands.
