Katy Perry Offers Sex At AmfAR Gala
Never accuse Katy Perry of not knowing how to be a giver. Perry can now sit safe knowing that she’ll always be known as someone who will do absolutely anything in the name of charity.
Last night at the amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research) gala, the Firework songstress attended the “Inspiration Gala” in Los Angeles. At the gala she helped to raise money by offering up a signed guitar. During the moment Perry also felt the need to offer up so much more, by screaming out during the auction, “I’ll have sex with you, too.”
Where in the world is John Mayer when you need him? Although Katy’s on again off again boyfriend Mayer was nowhere in sight, Perry obviously was joking about the offer, and instead threw in that the winner will have the chance to go to gay bar The Abbey. After auctioning off the guitar, Perry returned back to the stage to close out the event by performing five songs, including smash hits Wide Awake and Firework. In addition Katy sang a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me, introducing the tune as “this song needs no introduction.”
The amfAR ceremony did pull out a lot of money for Perry. Katy’s sex offer aside, the creator of Girls Gone Wild, Joe Francis started the event off with a $10,000 bid but was later out bidded by New York Giants owner Steve Tisch who bid on the guitar for a whopping $32,000 dollars. Perry, who was clearly excited by the big bid ran over to Tisch and hugged him and smiled while saying, “I’m going to have sex with you.”
