Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx Wedding Date Confirmed?
Recent rumors suggest that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are planning to have a secret wedding just before Christmas Eve.
A report from Movie News Guide claims that the rumored couple has had enough of hiding and if things go according to their plan, then they will get married in November.
OK! Magazine also reported that the rumored couple will soon make their first public appearance as an engaged couple. The publication further claimed that the couple in question is planning to have a very quiet wedding. However, Holmes is very afraid of Tom Cruise and has no idea how he is going to handle the news.
“She’s afraid that he’ll be angry that Suri will have a new father figure and come crashing back into her and Suri’s lives,” an insider explained.
Apparently, this isn’t the first time rumors about Katie and Jamie have swirled online. There were earlier reports that the actress was allegedly pregnant. According to Hollywood Life, both the stars were extremely happy and excited when they found about the pregnancy. A source close to the couple stated that after ending her marriage with Tom Cruise, Katie has found true love with Jamie.
“They’re both such great parents, and they’ve been talking about starting a family together for awhile now. They added that fans should expect an announcement from the couple within in next couple months. They’re slowly coming around to the idea of allowing their relationship to be known but they want to keep it private for as long as they can. They’re so in love, and keeping it all quiet makes Katie that much more crazy about Jamie. She feels like she’s hit gold with her new husband.”
Furthermore, Radar Online claimed that the reason Katie is not accepting Jamie’s proposal is because her divorce agreement with Tom prohibits her from dating until 2017.
An insider revealed to the publication that Katie was desperate to end her marriage because of Tom’s involvement with the Church of Scientology. So, she signed a clause that prevents her from publicly talking about the Church, embarrassing the Top Gun star, or dating another man for five years after the marriage.
“She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri,” the insider further added. “Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms — and got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”
The outlet’s source further revealed that if she breaks the contract, then she is bound to lose a huge sum of money.
Ever since her divorce, the Dawson’s Creek actress has been linked with few celebrities like Joshua Jackson, Matthew Perry, and Jamie. In one of her earlier interviews, she revealed how she tackles all this nonsense.
During her interview with DuJour, Suri’s mother was asked how she manages to stay focus on her professional life when everyone is desperate to know about her personal life. In response, the actress dismissed the subject in its entirety and stated that she prefers to do those things that make her happy and confident.
“There’s definitely an awareness of the fact that people have camera phones, and that your privacy is sometimes invaded, but that’s something that I think everyone has had to adjust to,” she further added. “Even early on, when I was a young actor and all of a sudden people knew who I was, my dad told me, ‘Don’t let that change how you live your life.’ I’ve always sort of approached it that way. You have to continue to do the things you want to do and not let outside forces dictate.”

However, when the duo parted their ways, the latter focused on his career, while the actress dedicated her time to their daughter Suri. Their representatives have always denied her involvement with Jamie Foxx or with any other celebrity.
