Seattle Seahawks Vs. Arizona Cardinals: Bold Predictions For Week 7 Of 2016 NFL Season

If the Arizona Cardinals plan on keeping pace in the NFC West, then they need to knock off the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7 of the 2016 NFL season.

Arizona enters this contest with a 3-3 record while Seattle holds a 4-1 record. The Seahawks are riding a three-game winning streak into this one while the Cardinals have won back-to-back contests. Regarding rankings, ESPN has Seattle down as the third-best team in the NFL in its latest power rankings. Arizona comes in at No. 13.

While the Cardinals will have the advantage of playing in front of their fans at home, they are only 2-2 in their own house on the season. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are 1-1 on the road.

Before we get to the bold predictions for this Week’s brawl, let’s talk some stats. Seattle is averaging 21 points per game and giving up 15.6 points per game. Arizona is putting up 25.5 points per contest and allowing 17.3 points per contest.

And now, it’s time to unleash the bold predictions for the Seattle vs. Arizona showdown.

Jimmy Graham Has A Fantasy Outbreak With Three Touchdowns

Jimmy Graham has really been racking up the yards as of late. After all, he has 302 receiving yards in his last three outings. On the season, the tight end has racked up a total of 355 receiving yards. With that in mind, Graham only has one touchdown in 2016, which probably doesn’t excite fantasy football folks.

Luckily for Graham owners, he is going to go off with three touchdowns against the Cardinals in Week 7. This, of course, has bold written all over it. For one, Graham, once again, only has a single touchdown on the year. Also, three touchdowns, especially for a tight end, is pretty beastly for anyone in the NFL.

David Johnson Continues To Be Unstoppable In The Yards Department With 150

David Johnson has been brilliant in 2016. The running back has recorded 568 rushing yards, which is good enough for third-best in the NFL, and 265 receiving yards. He also has eight touchdowns, with three of them coming in Week 6 against the New York Jets.

Needless to say, Johnson has been a nightmare for opposing defenses. The guy has five rushing touchdowns in his last two games, after all.

While 150 total yards might seem like another day at the office for Johnson, one must remember that Seattle has allowed the fewest yards so far. While he will continue to get his yards, the Seahawks’ defense will hold him scoreless, and that is where Part 2 of this prediction comes into play. Remember, the running machine had three rushing touchdowns alone in Week 6.

Seattle Proves To Be The Best Team In The NFC West With 10-Point Victory

Seattle might be playing on the road, and Arizona might enter this contest with some momentum, but the Seahawks are considered a top team in this league. Currently, they are riding a three-game winning streak. Last week, they knocked off the Atlanta Falcons, a team that looked top-five worthy entering Week 6.

The Cardinals are more than capable of going on a serious winning streak and making the playoffs yet again, but it remains to be seen if that will actually happen, and if Carson Palmer can play like he did a season ago. The quarterback hasn’t necessarily been MVP-worthy this year, and his four-interception performance against the Buffalo Bills is proof of that.

While this could — and should — be one of the better games of the week, Seattle will capture a 10-point victory (perhaps more?). If the Seahawks do come out on top, they will enter Week 8 with a 5-1 record while Arizona will drop to 3-4 on the year, which doesn’t exactly scream playoff contender.
