Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Fighting After Robbery? He’s ‘Upset’ She’s ‘Missing Out On Money’ [Report]

Kim Kardashian is allegedly being urged to return to work by husband Kanye West after taking more than two weeks away from the spotlight after being robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France, on October 2.

New reports are claiming that Kanye has been encouraging his wife not to cancel any further upcoming appearances as she continues to recover from the scary ordeal that saw her tied up and robbed of a reported $10 million worth of jewelry, alleging that West has been telling Kim it’s time to return to work and get back to normality.

According to OK! Magazine, West is conscious that Kardashian has lost hundreds of thousands of dollars after deciding to take some time away from the spotlight to recover from the robbery and is supposedly “upset” that Kim is showing no signs of getting back to work anytime soon, despite the hit her hiatus is giving Kardashian and West’s finances.

“Kanye is more worried about his wife missing out on the money,” the site claimed of the main reason West allegedly wants to see Kardashian get back to work so soon, even going as far as to claim that Kardashian’s time away from the spotlight has been causing her and West, who she married in 2014, to fight.

“She blew a $200,000 payday by not attending a store opening in Beverly Hills a few days ago,” an insider revealed. “[Kim] promised Kanye she would go but bailed at the last minute. They’ve been fighting about it ever since.”

“Kim refusing to go out is causing a lot of tension between them,” the insider added of the supposed tension between Kardashian and West, who have two children, Saint and North West, together.

But while it sounds like Kanye may be pushing his wife, who OK! Magazine claimed is planning to take at least a month away from the spotlight following the robbery, to return to work too soon, the source admitted that West believes heading out and leaving the house will actually help Kim to return to her old self.

“[Kanye’s] not being unsupportive. He’s just trying to get Kim to get past this for her own good and for the sake of her career,” the magazine’s Kardashian insider revealed of why Kanye is supposedly “upset” and pushing so hard to get Kim out and back to work.

“Kanye said he’ll do everything he can to get the old Kim back,” continued the magazine’s source of Kanye, adding that West is even considering getting professional help for his wife in an attempt to help Kardashian recover.

Kim Kardashian is still yet to officially speak out about her robbery in Paris and has only been spotted out a handful of times in the past two weeks, though reports claiming that Kanye West is urging Kardashian to head back out into the spotlight comes just days after People confirmed that West’s wife has no plans to return to her old life anytime soon.

People reported in an article posted on October 18 that Kim “is still figuring out what she wants to do” when it comes to whether or not she’ll return to her very public lifestyle but revealed that, right now, Kardashian “has zero desire to resume her old life.”

“She has no plans for any public appearances,” the insider said of Kardashian, noting that Kim is now “much more withdrawn” following the robbery after being somewhat of a social butterfly prior.

And while Kim continues to contemplate her next steps following the Paris robbery, reports are suggesting that Kardashian is still so shaken up by the attack that the next phase of her life may be without the cameras that have followed her every move for almost a decade.

Closer Magazine revealed earlier this week that Kim has been telling her family members that she’s not sure if she wants to continue on with Keeping Up with the Kardashians, despite the series being contracted for at least two more seasons.

“[Kim’s] unsure whether she wants to do the show – she feels so shaken and vulnerable,” an insider said, suggesting that Kim could potentially quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “She’s reassessing everything at the moment and she’s not sure she wants to open up her personal life to the world anymore.”

But as Kardashian continues to stay radio silent across her various social media platforms, her assistant is speaking out about how the star is doing following the robbery.

Kardashian’s assistant Steph posted a handwritten note to fans via Kim’s official app earlier this week according to a screen shot of the message obtained by The Shade Room, which revealed that the reality star is now “taking some much needed time off.”
