Kristen Stewart won’t be seen publicly with Robert Pattinson too much since the couple got back together, and that’s just how studio executives want it.
The embattled lovers decided to reconcile after Kristen Stewart was caught cheating with Snow White and the Huntsmen director Rupert Sanders, but even though just about every move they make has become tabloid fodder, the two won’t be making many public appearances together.
A report from Marie Claire noted that the request to keep Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson apart came from studio executives, who thought it best to avoid any unwanted press the couple might attract.
Summit Entertainment executives reportedly want the two to keep clear of each other publicly until the world premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. The apparently thought that the personal lives of Robert and Kristen were so intertwined with their roles as Edward and Bella that any bad press would impact the success of the film. They will promote the movie separately, Marie Claire reported.
That hasn’t kept them from speaking publicly, Us Weekly noted. The magazine noted that she has been open about everything from her upcoming movies to her famous scowl. Speaking to Marie Claire, Stewart talked about how she always wanted to the the Bella character to be “unassuming, yet cooler than everyone else.”
Kristen Stewart had some harsher words for herself.
“I’m a miserable c–t,” the On the Road star told Marie Claire. “I’m not sure if I’m most happy when I’m comfortable and content or when I’m pushing myself to the limits.”
Studio executives hope that Kristen Stewart can curb her need to push the limits — at least until after Twilight is out.
