Xbox One Deals: ‘Rocket League,’ ‘GTA 5,’ ‘Tomb Raider’ Discounted For Xbox Live Gold Members Until October 24

Microsoft's Deals with Gold program for Xbox Live Gold members are currently offering discounts for popular Xbox One video games such as Rocket League and Grand Theft Auto 5.

The futuristic sports-action video game Rocket League, regularly priced at $20, is on sale with 25 percent discount, according to a list posted by Major Nelson. This Xbox One deal, however, is only limited to players with active membership with Xbox Live Gold.

Rocket League, released initially for PS4 and PC in 2015, finally became available on Xbox One in February of this year. Players use "booster-rigged vehicles that can be crashed into balls for incredible goals or epic saves across multiple, highly-detailed arenas," according to the game's official website. Grabbing Rocket League right now is also perfect timing for those who enjoy the Halloween season since the game just went for a spooky mood.

According to a recent report by the Inquisitr, Rocket League'sHalloween event kicked off yesterday, October 18, where the game developer released several new free in-game Halloween items.

"Our new Bone King Topper is perfect for those who need a little more fright in their life, while the Ghost is a spirit so lovable even the Ghostbusters wouldn't want to trap it," the post on the official website reads. "For your Antenna this year, we have the Fuzzy Skull, which will give your opponents a scare as you go tearing through the pitch, and the Netherworld Rocket Trail will leave your opponents in the ghoulish dust!"

As for other Xbox One deals, Grand Theft Auto 5 is also available for a cheaper price this week. Through Deals with Gold, Xbox Live Gold members can have Rockstar Games' open-world action-adventure for only $38.99, compared to its usual price of $60. GTA 5 game bundles are also on sale, up to 60 percent discount for Great White Bundle, Megalodon Bundle, and Whale Shark Cash Card Bundle.

Below is the game description of Grand Theft Auto 5.

"When a young street hustler, a retired bank robber and a terrifying psychopath find themselves entangled with some of the most frightening and deranged elements of the criminal underworld, the U.S. government and the entertainment industry, they must pull off a series of dangerous heists to survive in a ruthless city in which they can trust nobody, least of all each other."

Xbox One owners with Xbox Live Gold subscription can also take advantage of other game and add-on deals available this week. Deals with Gold is currently offering discounts for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Season Pass (20 percent), DiRT Rally (50 percent), F1 2016 (35 percent), and Rory McIlroy PGA Tour (60 percent). A whopping 75 percent markdown is also available for Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. A game bundle which includes the Season Pass for Crystal Dynamic's action-adventure title is also 75 percent cheaper.

An enormous discount also awaits Xbox Live Gold members for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Xbox One. According to the list, the 2013 game from Square Enix currently comes with a $7.50 price tag, instead of $30.

The Definitive Edition of the action-adventure game featuring Lara Croft received positive feedbacks, in general, based on its score on Metacritic. Its current Metascore is 86 while it received a 7.6 User Score. One of the critic reviews featured in the website praised the improved graphics of the game.

"They're simply stunning in perhaps the best-looking console game I've ever seen," Game Informer noted. "Running smooth 1080p resolution, this new version adds an incredible level of detail to the newly modeled characters and lush environments."
