Is Selena Gomez alright? The pop singer was photographed outside of her rehab facility in Tennessee smoking a cigarette with a bandaged up hand. How long will the recovering star stay out of the spotlight?
Selena Gomez was caught looking a bit worse for wear outside of her rehab facility. The pop singer looked tired, with visible bags under her eyes. She wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and black jeans while taking a cigarette break outside with a nurse.
The recovering star was drinking out of a disposable coffee cup and appeared to be in good spirits.
Selena Gomez, 24, stepped away from the spotlight this summer to go to rehab to deal with “anxiety, panic attacks, and depression” sources told Radar Online.
The pop star shocked her fans and canceled her Revival tour in late August.
“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this. I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”
Radar Online reported a few weeks ago that the singer was expected to stay at the rehab for “more than 60 days.”
“The rehab has a Christianity-based track, which might have been appealing given her religious background.”
When Selena first arrived at the rehab center in Tennessee sources confirmed that Selena was not being treated for drug-related problems, but she for her lupus diagnosis and mental health issues, an insider told US Weekly.
“Selena is dealing with lupus, but this break is to focus on her mental health. She can go to a very dark place.”

Selena emerged from the rehab center for a smoke break with a concerning looking bandage on her left hand.
Gomez was seen chatting and laughing with the nurse outside, but she later appeared looking solemn and sad. It is difficult to tell where Selena is at with her rehabilitation and how much longer she plans to stay.
Sources who have spotted Selena outside of the rehab facility claim that the singer is ready to be back in the spotlight.
“It almost seemed like she was hoping to be recognized by someone, but not even the worker getting her ice cream knew who she was.”

The rumors may be true, as Gomez was seen barely 24 hours later chatting it up with fans and taking pictures at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Alcoa, Tennessee.
