San Francisco 49ers Vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Bold Predictions For Week 7 Of The 2016 NFL Season

The San Francisco 49ers season has not turned out the way they wanted it to at the begining of the year. The 49ers were hoping that Chip Kelly could lead them to a winning record. The team has won only one game so far. The 49ers’ playoff hopes have started to diminish.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be traveling to the West Coast to face off against the 49ers on Sunday. The Buccaneers opened up as the favorite to win this game. Tampa Bay is expected to win this game by two points.

This game will be televised on FOX TV at 3:05 P.M. Central time on Sunday afternoon.

The Buccaneers are coming off a bye week. Tampa Bay’s season has kicked off to a rocky start. They have a 2-3 record. The Buccaneers’ offense has the firepower to stick with any offense in the NFL.

Tampa Bay’s offense is led by second year quarterback Jameis Winston. He has been the catalyst for head coach Dirk Koetter.

The team has a young core surrounding Winston to build on. The Buccaneers have wide receiver Mike Evans, running back Doug Martin, and a mix of young players and veterans on the offensive line.

The Buccaneers also have a talented defense. They have a very good mix of young and veteran players. Tampa Bay has one of best defensive tackles in the NFL in Gerald McCoy. They have good young linebackers in Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David. They drafted Vernon Hargreaves in last year’s draft and signed veteran Brent Grimes.

Tampa Bay has plenty of injuries on their team. Gerald McCoy has a calf injury. Robert Ayers is doubtful with an ankle injury. Doug Martin and Brent Grimes are dealing with a hamstring injury.

Bold predictions for the Buccaneers, Jameis Winston will throw for 300 yards and three touchdowns. If Doug Martin and Charles Sims miss the game due to injury, Jacquizz Rodgers will have 100 yards rushing.

The 49ers are coming off a lost against the Buffalo Bills. San Francisco looked good for one half of football. The 49ers kept themselves in the game until the fourth quarter.

San Francisco allowed three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. The defense allowed LeSean McCoy to run for 140 yards on 19 carries to go with three touchdowns.

Head coach Chip Kelly decided to make a change at the quarterback position last week. Kelly pulled Blaine Gabbert in favor of Colin Kaepernick. According to Sports Illustrated, they have decided to stick with Kaepernick as the starting quarterback against the Buccaneers.

Colin Kaepernick had a decent season debut against the Bills last week. He threw for 187 yards to go with one touchdown. Kaepernick also made plays on the running game. The former Nevada Wolfpack star ran for 66 yards on eight carries.

Look for Colin Kaepernick to continue to build on what he did against the Bills. Keep in mind that he missed a whole year and did not get to practice with the team as much.

They also lost running back Carlos Hyde to a shoulder injury. He is questionable to play against the Buccaneers.

The 49ers defense will need one of their players to step and lead them. Veteran leader NaVorro Bowman went down with Achilles injury and will miss the rest of the year.

Bold predictions for the 49ers, Colin Kaepernick will throw for 200 yards and a touchdown. He will also run the ball for 75 yards and score a touchdown. If Carlos Hyde plays, look for him to have a bounce back game and rush for 120 and two touchdowns.

The game between the 49ers and Buccaneers could be a high scoring one. With the injuries on the Buccaneers, the 49ers could take advantage of it and put up points in bunches. Final score prediction, San Francisco 28 and Tampa Bay 24.
