Selena Gomez Receives A Visit From Jennifer Aniston In Rehab After Brad Pitt Divorce Rumors
Selena Gomez is reportedly seeking treatment in a Tennessee rehab facility, and recently, she was said to have gotten a very special visit from a friend.
Weeks after revealing her struggles with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, a source claims Selena Gomez’s friend, Jennifer Aniston, traveled to the facility to surprise her.
“[Selena Gomez is] allowed a limited number of visitors a day, but she got the surprise of her life when Jen showed up,” Celebs Now revealed to readers on October 15. “She’s incredibly supportive of Selena and knows she must be feeling awful, getting caught up in the Brangelina divorce drama. Seeing Jen was exactly what Selena needed. She’s so funny and sweet and she really cheered her up.”

Ironically, it wasn’t long ago when Selena Gomez was accused of engaging in a flirty encounter with Aniston’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt. Selena Gomez was also recently linked to Pitt’s divorce after a source claimed Angelina Jolie had discovered photos of other women, including Gomez, on his phone.
Just one month prior to her ties to Pitt, Selena Gomez had released a statement to People Magazine about her struggles with lupus, which had led to mental health concerns. In her statement, Selena Gomez thanked fans for their support.
“[Selena Gomez]’s been going through hell with anxiety and depression over her lupus and Jen wanted to let her know everyone was rooting for her,” the source continued. “She even turned up with a card signed by all their friends back home in LA.”
As for when Selena Gomez’s friendship with Aniston began, the source claimed the pair met at a party in December 2014.
“We met through my management so it was kind of like a friendly meeting and instantly she’s, like, inviting me to her house,” Selena Gomez said of her initial interaction with Aniston, via Celebs Now. “She has a pizza oven. Like, we’ve made pizzas at her house. She’s very cool and very sweet. She kind of gives me a lot of maternal advice.”
While Selena Gomez’s family is believed to be living in Texas, Jennifer Aniston has homes in Los Angeles, just as Gomez does.

Selena Gomez entered a treatment center outside of Nashville, Tennessee after canceling her Revival World Tour on August 30. As Us Weekly revealed last week, the singer is currently staying at an all-women’s facility as she does her best to focus on her mental health and get back to her career in entertainment once she’s in a better place.
According to the report, Selena Gomez can go to a “very dark place” and was in need of a break when she suddenly canceled her tour. Now, as she tends to her issues in what is being described as a “private and quiet place,” Gomez is said to be involved in a “super intense” treatment plan.
Selena Gomez previously checked into rehab in 2014 after being diagnosed with Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, one year prior. Now, she’s taken a step back from her career and is no longer working on music. According to an insider, Selena Gomez was supposed to be recording at this point but no one knows when she’ll return to the studio.
Since landing in Tennessee, Selena Gomez has been spotted out and about a few times. First, she was photographed with fans in Alcoa, Tennessee, where she and her mom and stepfather visited a Texas Roadhouse for dinner. The following day, Selena Gomez and her grandparents enjoyed breakfast at the Riverstone Restaurant in Townsend, Tennessee.
