‘American Horror Story’ Spoilers: Shelby & Matt Return To Roanoke House In Season 6?

American Horror Story fans are anxious to find out what big twist this week’s latest episode will bring. As promised, the sixth episode of Season 6 is said to be changing everything, and viewers want to know what will happen. While reliable spoilers have been few and far between, plenty of theories have surfaced online. According to Yahoo!, in last week’s episode of My Roanoke Nightmare, things seemed to wrap up with the Roanoke house storyline. This could mean that viewers have seen the last of Shelby, Matt, and Lee, and the on-screen dramatized versions of themselves, but new promotional photos could suggest otherwise.

The report reveals that the new promotional photos feature the “real” Matt and Shelby inside the Roanoke house. The characters, played by Lily Rabe and Andre Holland, have so far only been seen sitting in front of the camera talking. Now fans are wondering if the real Matt and Shelby will return to the house for some reason, or if their real lives away from the cameras will be the focus of the second half of Season 6. In the newly released preview for American Horror Story Season 6, Episode 6 actor Cheyenne Jackson is seen as a producer or director telling a camera man that he is not to stop rolling film for any reason. Could the second half of the season be about the cast and crew working on the My Roanoke Nightmare documentary?

American Horror Story fans seem more confused than ever about what the Season 6 twist will be. There are so many theories, but it’s hard to image many of them being true. Would the show really put any of the characters to bed for good when there is so much of the season left? Fan-favorite actor Evan Peters was only seen in one episode this season, and if he doesn’t return fans are likely to get a bit hostile. Meanwhile, if My Roanoke Nightmare is done filming, will that mean that viewers have also seen the last of Sarah Paulson, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Angela Bassett, who played the on-screen dramatized versions of Shelby, Matt, and Lee?

Perhaps everyone involved with My Roanoke Nightmare will all be in the house at the same time for some spooky reason. Another theory speculates that Matt, Shelby, and Lee are possibly dead or possessed, and that they are filming the documentary show as ghosts themselves. Perhaps the most popular theory about American Horror Story Season 6 is that all six seasons of the series have all been a documentary. If this is true, then fans may expect to see former characters from Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, and Hotel pop up this season.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, some American Horror Story fans believe that all of the characters in the entire series are actually in purgatory, and that the big reveal will come in Episode 6 this week. However, most fans aren’t really sure what to expect, and they’ll be tuning in ready to watch the mystery unfold while hoping to get their questions answered. One thing is for sure, the twist is set to be shocking, and actress Sarah Paulson recently revealed that fans are going to “go nuts” when they finally find out what it is.

“Something’s happening that people are going to go nuts for. They’re going to go nutty bobo nut town.”

What are your thoughts on the latest American Horror Story Season 6 spoilers? Do you think the Season 6 twist in this week’s episode could change the entire series forever?
