Vicki Gunvalson is plotting a big casting change for The Real Housewives of Orange County. Will her scheming get Tamra Judge fired and bring back Gretchen Rossi?
Radar Online reports that Gunvalson is teaming up with newbie Kelly Dodd in an effort to level the playing field with her enemies.
Gunvalson is having a difficult time making friends this season, and having Dodd in her corner is a big advantage.
“Vicki loves Kelly more than ever because Kelly is fighting Vicki’s battles for her,” a source explained. “Vicki stands behind everything that Kelly says right now because Kelly says almost exactly what Vicki is thinking.”
Gunvalson’s friendship with Dodd ramped up this past summer when they tried to get former RHOC star Rossi back on the show.
“As far as Gretchen goes, she and Kelly have continued to hang out a lot and become even closer friends,” the insider continued. “Kelly is really pushing for Gretchen to come back to the show next season because she and Vicki both feel like she would be a good person to have on their side.”
Despite Gunvalson’s attempts to remain close with Dodd, Reality Tea reveals that she abandoned Dodd during the cast’s drama-filled trip to Ireland.
Following Dodd’s epic fight with Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow questioned why Gunvalson hadn’t spoke up and defended Dodd in front of everyone. On her Bravo blog, Dubrow admitted that she took Judge’s side in the matter, but she also criticized Vicki Gunvalson for walking away and not standing by Dodd.
While Dubrow then slammed Dodd for not owning up to her actions, she cautioned fans that things are only going to get worse from here.
“Spoiler alert – it gets uglier,” she wrote.
According to Reality Tea, things erupted after Dodd brought up why Judge’s estranged teenage daughter wants nothing to do with her. The women later fought with each other, and things got physical. The altercation wasn’t caught on camera, so there’s no telling what really went down.
“When Shannon [Beador] told me, I ran up to Kelly and grabbed her shoulders and yelled at her,” Judge admitted on her Bravo blog. “I know that it was not a wise thing to do, and I am very sorry I did that. In Kelly style, she went outside and told everyone that I hit her. This woman cannot stop lying and exaggerating to save her life.”
It isn’t clear what happened between the ladies, though People is reporting that audio of the fight was caught off-camera.
“You f**king b***h,” Judge is heard screaming. “You talk about my f**king daughter and I’ll f**king kill you. What is wrong with you?”
The drama in Ireland began after Dodd revealed how Dubrow had borrowed money to purchase land for her new home. Apparently, Dubrow didn’t appreciate her financial history being put on display for all the world to see.
“I have a realtor friend who knows the Dubrows and she told me they couldn’t afford her lot and they had to get a loan for her,” Dodd said on camera. “Just because I got this information and relayed it doesn’t mean I was looking into her.”
Of course, this ultimately led to Dodd’s attack on Judge, who later called her “Satan.”
“I told her how painful it is, and for her to do that — to come back and throw it in my face — is f**king disgusting,” Judge said. “She’s like Satan. She’s so evil. She’s such a piece of s**t.”
On her own Bravo blog, Dodd explained how everyone was ganging up on her and expressed her disappointment with how Gunvalson failed to back her up.
