Melissa Gorga’s Envy Takes A Backseat: ‘RHONJ’ Star Supports Teresa Giudice During Tough Time

Melissa Gorga has been working on her relationship with Teresa Giudice over the past year, as she wants to keep the peace in the family. As soon as Gorga’s sister-in-law was released from prison on the season premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa was ready with her family to accept her into her home. The two celebrated Christmas together in a peaceful setting, and both ladies decided to put their past behind them, even though Gorga clearly wanted her side to be told. Now, as Joe Giudice is turning himself in, Gorga reveals that her heart is completely breaking watching her sister-in-law struggle with becoming a single mother.

According to a new tweet, Melissa Gorga is now revealing that her heart is breaking to watch Teresa say goodbye to her husband, Joe Giudice. But she also wanted her sister-in-law to know that she’s there for her if she needs a shoulder to cry on.

“My heart breaks watching this. Love u Teresa Giudice #RHONJ #StayStrong,” Melissa Gorga tweeted during last night’s episode, to which Teresa replied, “Love you too.”

“I am so glad that they have you and Joe Family is the most important thing,” one fan wrote to Melissa, who was clearly trying to stay strong for her sister-in-law as her husband turned himself in to serve over three years behind bars.

Fans who have been following Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice on their journey had plenty of support to give to the stars. Many people feel that Teresa should be forgiven these days because she did serve her time and she did pay for her crimes. Sadly, there were still people who felt it was better to put Giudice in a bad light, pointing out that plenty of people suffered during her husband’s fraudulent behavior.

“Why no heartbreak for the people who these scumbags defrauded?? #RHONJ,” one person pointed out, while another added, “Joe cheated on her for years and was responsible for Teresa being in jail #Fact.”

“Do you not have any empathy? They’ve come a long way,” one person asked one of the haters, to which the person wrote, “yes, it’s sad. Very sad.”

Of course, Teresa is learning who she can trust these days. While she’s made peace with Melissa Gorga, it sounds like many of her other co-stars will have to work for her trust and attention. Jacqueline Laurita is currently at the bottom of the totem pole, as she recently yelled at Giudice and called her a criminal.

“I’ve said this many times before — I just want peace in my life, that’s all. I have too much going on and don’t have the energy for someone like Jacqueline anymore. I wish her and her family well. But I’m done, too,” Teresa has revealed on her blog for Bravo, sharing that she doesn’t want to surround herself with negative people — Melissa Gorga being a positive person in her life.

And it sounds like she doesn’t want to give people who are just desperate for attention a second of her day, especially since these people may just want to hurt them. And she reveals that she’s done with Kim D., who tried to separate her and Gorga even though they were getting along.

“I’m also done with Kim D. After seeing her stir the pot at her fashion show again? I always gave her the benefit of the doubt, but I finally got my answer. I’m glad I got to see her true colors for myself. What bothers me the most is that by saying what she said, she hurts my children. When you have known someone a long time and they do something like that shows how much class they have,” she continues, even though Kim D. tried to cause trouble between Giudice and Melissa Gorga by saying that Melissa had hired someone who was spreading false stories about Teresa in the press.

It’s awesome to hear that Gorga is getting along with her sister-in-law, especially since they’ve had a tumultuous relationship in the past.
