Is Miley Cyrus Quitting ‘The Voice’? Her Feud With Adam Levine May Be Too Much To Handle

Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine are rumored to be involved in an on-set feud behind the scenes of NBC’s The Voice, but will the alleged tension between them lead Cyrus to quit the show all together?

Since earlier this year, when Miley Cyrus was first cast alongside Levine for the 11th season of the hit singing competition series, rumors have been swirling in regard to their issues with one another and although they seem to be friendly during the recently aired shows, a new report suggests Cyrus may be ready to cut ties with the network.

Although Miley Cyrus appeared happy and content during a recent appearance with her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, as reported by Woman’s Day on October 17, another report has suggested that Cyrus is struggling with Levine on set and often in tears due to the bullying she allegedly endures during filming.

“[Miley Cyrus]’s dying to get out of there,” an insider told In Touch Weekly, according to a report by OK! Magazine. “Things are so bad. She’s had enough.”

According to the report, Miley Cyrus has “been in tears” almost daily thanks to her co-star, Levine, who “tears apart everything Miley does.”

“[Miley Cyrus] feels like his favorite target,” the source explained, who claimed Levine’s close friend and their fellow co-star, Blake Shelton, often joins him in ganging up on Cyrus. “She feels like it’s a boys’ club and that she’s all alone.”

“After they wrapped, [Adam Levine] told her, ‘This will be your first and last season,'” the source said. “[Miley Cyrus] shot back, ‘If I have anything to do with it, it will be your last season, too!'”

Miley Cyrus was brought to the show earlier this year following the exits of former coaches Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera. Although Stefani, the girlfriend of Shelton, and Aguilera used to alternate seasons on the show as coach, neither singer was available to film The Voice Season 11, so Cyrus and Alicia Keys joined the show together, which made for the first two-women, two-men panel. Right away, however, Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine’s reported feud began making headlines.

In April, Radar Online claimed Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine were at odds and noted that Levine was “annoyed” by his “loud-mouth” co-star just two weeks into production on The Voice Season 11.

“Adam and Miley were non-stop bickering during their last taping together,” an insider said at the time, adding that Levine reportedly “nitpicks” nearly everything Miley Cyrus says.

The report went on to explain that Miley Cyrus was enlisted for a role on the show by former coach Christina Aguilera, who has been involved in her own feud with Shelton. As the outlet explained, Aguilera’s feud with Shelton began after she replaced Stefani on the show for its 10th season. Although Stefani was seen in a mentor role and as a performer on Season 10, she didn’t appear as a coach and Aguilera reportedly enlisted Cyrus to make sure she never returns to her full-time role.

That said, executives of the series were said to be second-guessing their decision to hire Miley Cyrus for a full-time role on the show because she cannot “get along with Adam to save her life!”
