Tamar Braxton Hits Back After ‘The Real’ Firing, Domestic Violence Rumors, Toya Wright Drama

Tamar Braxton appears to be hitting back amid the recent drama that’s surrounded her marriage to husband Vince Herbert, her The Real firing, and her seemingly now former friendship with Toya Wright.

Tamar appeared to cryptically speak out regarding the recent drama on Instagram on October 13, reposting a meme from Jennifer Lopez that told the world that Braxton was “exhausted” in the wake of the latest round of feud and drama reports.

The Instagram upload showed a girl sitting alone beside an empty swing alongside the caption, “I’m exhausted from trying to be stronger than I feel.”

“Repost from @jlo,” Tamar captioned the upload, alongside the hashtag #IFeelUSis and a heart emoji.

While Braxton didn’t explicitly reveal exactly what she was referring to by posting the meme, there’s no doubting that Tamar has been caught up in a whole lot of drama over the past few months, which social media users quickly alluded to in the photo’s comments.

Some fans suggested that Tamar’s recent feud drama with now seemingly former friend Toya Wright was behind the post after Wright recently accused Braxton of having her banned from the daytime talk show The Real while she was still on the hosting panel, noting that she was suddenly invited to be a guest on the show once Braxton was fired back in May.

BET reported that Wright went in on Tamar in her new book, In My Own Words… My Real Reality, claiming that after she appeared on Season 3 of The Real last month, Tamar suddenly unfollowed her across social media.

“My friend was on the talk show for what I believe was two seasons and I was never able to go on there,” Toya claimed, seemingly referring to a feud with Braxton. “After my friend was fired, my publicist was able to get me on the show, which I found to be strange.”

“Little did I know, when I was done with the show I was gonna lose a friend and get unfollowed,” Toya continued, just weeks after Tamar hit the headlines for unfollowing both Toya and Monica after both appeared on the Season 3 premiere week of The Real following Braxton’s firing, seemingly igniting a feud.

“It was news to my ears as I logged on to my social media accounts to see that I was tagged in all kinds of posts saying that myself and another friend were unfollowed for going on the show,” Toya added, seemingly all but confirmed a feud with Tamar.

Tamar Braxton didn’t reveal if the drama between herself and Toya was what she was referring to in the Instagram post, though fans were quick to link the feud to Braxton’s cryptic post after Tamar previously hit back.

“Tamar you need to grow up and stop trying to destroy Toya she lost both her brothers and is trying to live in peace,” @mrs_candikane26 wrote in Braxton’s photo’s comments, “and you wanna bring your bitter Betty self and try to make her look bad grow up ugh seriously you too old for all this and then play victim.”

“Why does drama follow you! You ever thought it might be you???” @lilharriet33 then asked Tamar.

But while some of Braxton’s fans suggested that Tamar’s exhaustion could be down to her feud with Toya Wright, others speculated that Braxton could have been referring to the recent drama surrounding her marriage with husband of six years, Vince Herbert.

Amid numerous alleged accusations of domestic violence, The Daily Mail claimed that Braxton had been “living in a private hell” for the past several months and reported that police were called to yet another alleged incident between Tamar and Vince at their home in California.

Braxton and Herbert did not confirm the incident, but did tell paparazzi after a prior domestic dispute in Atlanta, Georgia, in August that fans asking questions about her and Vince’s marriage could “have several seats.”

Tamar did not explicitly mention her marriage or Toya in her Instagram post, though other social media users speculated that Braxton could have been referring to all of her recent dramas, including her dramatic firing from The Real earlier this year and her feud with her former co-stars, and encouraged the Braxton Family Values star to do a sit-down interview to tell her side of the story.

“All of this ‘drama’ surrounding you and the loss of SO many friendships and relationships that you truly enjoyed, losing your tv show, divorce talk, so many folks dragging your name through the dirt…speak your truth,” Instagram user @Iammirroredluv told Tamar on Instagram.

The social media user then urged Tamar to tell all about The Real, her recent feuds and her marriage drama in a sit-down interview, adding, “We just want the real, the truth. No speculation. No story spins. Just you as you’ve always been. Real and genuine.”

Tamar has not revealed exactly what drama she was referring to in her “exhausted” Instagram post, though Braxton has used Instagram in recent weeks to tell fans that she was spending some time in the hospital in the caption of a photo that showed off her hospital bracelet from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Braxton went on a pretty serious rant about her recent drama in the post’s caption, discussing her marriage drama and her decision to unfollow both Toya and Monica after they appeared on The Real, before Tamar Braxton then admitted that she was “tired of waiting and not [feeling] well.”
