Will Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Get Back Together After She Completes Her Stint In Rehab?

Is Selena Gomez ready to reconcile her relationship with her newly single ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber?

While Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have not been seen together for the past several months, many recent reports have suggested that a reunion between the former couple could happen once Gomez completes her stint in rehab. However, that reunion may only come in a professional setting.

“Justin Bieber Selena Gomez reunion could happen soon. The leading artists are likely to come together at the American Music Awards 2016. Will they choose to rekindle their romance?” Health Aim asked readers on October 15. “It may be too early to confirm a reunion. However, ardent fans of the couple would be very happy if they get back together.”

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber began their relationship in 2010 and continued to date one another for over two years. Since then, they have stayed in touch and reunited frequently. During their most recent outing, Selena Gomez was seen showing her support for Bieber at one of his “Purpose World Tour” shows in Los Angeles. Prior to that, the former couple had engaged in a flirty encounter on Instagram — a far cry from their highly publicized social media dispute in August.

Months after Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber convinced many that a reunion was imminent with a cute throwback photo of the two of them, Gomez and Bieber accused one another of cheating.

After just weeks of dating Sofia Richie, Bieber posted a photo of himself and the model on Instagram. Then, after receiving backlash from fans, the “Cold Water” singer posted another photo and threatened to make his account private if his fans didn’t start being nicer to Richie. He even accused his fans of not being his true fans.

Once Selena Gomez saw what had taken place between Bieber and his fans, she weighed in with a comment of her own, which reminded Bieber that his fans have been around since the start of his career. She also told the singer that his fans and followers loved him but he didn’t want to hear it and quickly fired back by accusing Gomez of using him for attention. In response, Selena Gomez dropped a bomb, claiming Bieber cheated multiple times during their relationship. Bieber then accused Gomez of having a relationship with Zayn Malik behind his back before deleting his Instagram account all together.

In the weeks that followed, Selena Gomez kept a low profile before releasing a statement to People Magazine on August 30 about the end of her “Revival World Tour.” In her statement to fans, Selena Gomez revealed she had been struggling with several symptoms of lupus, including anxiety, depression and panic attacks.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Selena Gomez said in her statement. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support,” she continued. “You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”
