Jake Gyllenhaal Spotted With Mystery Brunette: Details On Rumored Girlfriend
Jake Gyllenhaal has been spending a lot of time in London lately. It’s probably because he wants to get closer to a certain someone. The actor has been linked to a mystery brunette, who he’s been seen spending a lot of time with lately.
Hollywood’s heartthrob could be in a new romance. Jake Gyllenhaal has been spotted with chef Katja Tausig in London throughout the month of October, reports Lainey Gossip. There have been photos of the two smiling, laughing, and embracing each other. Gyllenhaal and Tausig were also seen wearing matching ensembles on two separate occasions. In the photos posted to Lainey Gossip, Gyllenhaal can’t seem to stop looking at the brunette beauty.
They’re also seen wearing matching head-to-toe navy blue outfits. Gyllenhaal is seen wearing a navy blue jacket over a gray T-shirt and navy blue pants. Tausig also wears a navy blue jacket, which she pairs with a dark shirt and pants. After the two finish their conversation, they hug before going their separate ways. According to the Daily Mail, the Southpaw star and the London-based chef were having a private conversation in the Shoreditch area.
The report went on to claim that Gyllenhaal cracked a few jokes while the mystery brunette woman rubbed his upper arm and laughed. The rumored couple couldn’t stop smiling as they continued to talk on the streets of the old London town. Gyllenhaal has been linked to his share of actresses and models over the years, including Dakota Johnson, Kirsten Dunst, and Reese Witherspoon.
His most famous and most public relationship was with singer-songwriter Taylor Swift way back in 2010. She has been rumored to write most of her 2012 album, Red, about their relationship. It has also been rumored that Swift lost her virginity to Gyllenhaal before she was supposedly dumped right before 21st birthday.
Over the summer, the 35-year-old actor opened up about his relationships on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show, revealing how many times he’s been in love, and why relationships don’t work out for him, as reported via People.
“How many times in your life have you really been in love – really in love?” Stern asked the actor.
“Three times,” Gyllenhaal said, before adding, “Twice.” He then placed the blame on himself when it came to the outcome of his relationships.
“It was me, man,” he said. “I think I probably just got scared.”
Gyllenhaal, at the time, admitted that he was not in love at the moment, but he was open to the idea.
“I love, love, man,” he said. “Are you kidding me?”
Stern then asked him if he would ever settle down and get married one day despite his commitment issues.
“Oh, I hope so,” Gyllenhaal said. “I think it’s hard for everybody, man. But I also think at some point, you just decide to grow up, you know? There are a lot of beautiful women, and there are opportunities. But at the same time, if you find the right person … I believe in monogamy. I believe in when you meet somebody who’s right, it will be right, and you’ll stay there.”
“I admire that relationship. They’re definitely a standard for me,” Gyllenhaal added. “To me, making a relationship … where you’re like, ‘Oh, I’m psyched to be a dad. This is cool. I’m psyched to be in this.’ My sister and her husband make it feel that way.”
During the interview, Gyllenhaal dodged questions about his relationship with Swift, but called her a “beautiful girl,” adds E! Online. He also added that he never listened to any of Swift’s songs about him.
