‘Supernatural’ Season 12, Episodes 2-4 Spoilers: Sam Saved, Mary’s Decision, And A Force That Could Destroy Them All

Supernatural Season 12 kicked off last Thursday and it was a great episode. Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) returned from the grave and Castiel (Misha Collins) reappeared. However, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) was abducted and tortured. Many fans were hoping he would be rescued in the season premiere, but that didn’t happen. No need to worry, Sam will be saved. Spoilers also reveal that Mary makes a decision that doesn’t sit well with Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and more.

Supernatural Season 12 spoilers for Episodes 2-4 are below. If you don’t want to know what will happen on The CW television show, then stop reading.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Sam Winchester was kidnapped and tortured in the Season 12 premiere of The CW series. However, he will be rescued at some point. Thankfully, it will be sooner rather than later. According to The Futon Critic, the synopses for Episodes 2-4 were released. The second episode, titled “Mamma Mia,” reveals that there is a lead on Sam’s whereabouts. In the promo clip for next Thursday’s episode of Supernatural, Castiel says he might know where Sam is being held.

Also, Dean has a problem with Mary wanting to tag along in Supernatural. However, he shouldn’t be too surprised since she wants to find Sam just as much as Dean. It would be next to impossible for a mother to stay behind when one of her children is missing and in trouble. This is even more true considering that the last time Mary saw Sam was when he was an infant.

“Dean, Castiel, and Mary have a lead on Sam and set out to rescue him. Dean is uncomfortable with putting Mary in danger but she insists on going along. Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) is tipped off that Lucifer has taken over the body of rock star Vince Vicente (guest star Rick Springfield).”

Based on the synopsis for Supernatural Season 12, Episode 3, Sam will be saved because he is back with Dean and Mary. Titled “The Foundry,” the Winchester family is back to working on cases and helping people. This should be interesting since Mary told Dean that she didn’t want the hunting life for her children. She spent many years running from it and wanted something else for her sons. However, Dean believes that they are helping people. It seems that Mary won’t tag along because she likes the hunt, but to help protect her children.

Also, expect to see Castiel and Crowley team up in Supernatural, which probably won’t go very smoothly. However, both are searching for the same person: Lucifer, who has taken a rock star as his latest vessel.

“When a crying baby leads to death in a mysterious abandoned house, Mary, Sam, and Dean decide to investigate. Meanwhile, Castiel’s hunt for Lucifer leads him, begrudgingly, to partner up with Crowley.”

Supernatural Season 12, Episode 3 is called “American Nightmare.” It definitely sounds like Sam and Dean Winchester are faced with something horrible. It is teased that it is something that could destroy everyone.

Also, expect Dean to have an issue with Mary’s next choice. It has not been revealed what that decision is about. However, the synopsis states that Sam and Dean will be working on a case. Mary being included in that is not mentioned. Does she go somewhere else, maybe to look for answers or to do some soul-searching? Coming back from the dead and suddenly having two grown sons must be challenging.

“Sam and Dean investigate a case that leads them to a devout religious family that lives off the grid. The brothers realize that the parents are hiding a huge secret that could destroy them all. Meanwhile, Dean struggles to accept Mary’s latest decision.”
