Matt Drudge Does His Best To Keep Donald Trump Alive
Donald Trump has run into a lot of trouble these past couple weeks with his campaign, but he still has the most influential man on the internet to support him, Matt Drudge. For the past week, the Drudge Report has ran nothing but positive posts on Donald Trump while running nothing but negative posts on Hillary Clinton. Some have even accused Donald Trump of paying Matt Drudge, but it’s more likely that the internet superstar wants to do everything possible to keep Hillary Clinton out of office.
This past week, especially after Donald Trump’s nasty language was heard on some Access Hollywood tapes, Drudge has pumped up his support for Trump even more. One of the articles Drudge is running at the top of his page is from Real Clear Politics, in which Trump criticizes the mainstream media.
“And likewise, the e-mails show the Clinton regime is so closely and irrevocably tied to the media organizations that she, listen to this, she is given the questions and answers in advance of her debate performance with Bernie Sanders. Hillary Clinton York Times,” Trump is quoted as saying at a rally on Thursday.
Trump added that they did not give him questions and answers in advance. He also continued to summarize the Clinton-related emails and condemn the mainstream media for ignoring them.
Matt Drudge also posted an article by Rasmussen Reports that says there is no fallout over sexual abuse allegations against Trump.
“At the close of a week that began with him trailing by seven points, Donald Trump still holds a slight lead over Hillary Clinton in today’s White House Watch survey despite a flurry of news reports alleging a history of sexual harassment on his part.”
The article adds that the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of likely voters shows Trump with 43 percent and Clinton with 41 percent. However, Fox News shows Clinton leading Trump by seven points.
“Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump has increased to seven points, as more than half of voters say he is not qualified to be president. That’s according to a just-released national Fox News Poll of likely voters. Clinton receives 45 percent to Trump’s 38 percent.”
Many of the commenters after the article aren’t Trump fans.
“Why is everyone acting so surprised that Dump is a sexual predator? His own wife testified that he raped her [she did retract this later]. Yes, Ivana. Look it up. None of this should be taking people by surprise,” says 4sanity.
“Still waiting for all that damaging information Trump was going to release on his accusers,” says Mikemc2.
Meanwhile, Drudge also posted an article that slams Hillary Clinton. The link is to an article by Real Clear Politics that reveals Green Party candidate Jill Stein believes that Mrs. Clinton, if elected, would not only be more dangerous than Trump, but she would also start a nuclear war with Russia. She also had a lot to say about the current state of affairs.
“All these times you have been told to vote for the lesser evil because you didn’t want the wars, or the meltdown of the climate, or the offshoring of our jobs, or the attack on immigrants, or the massive bailout for Wall Street, but that is actually what we have gotten. By the droves.”
