Are Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston Getting Back Together? Rumors Swirl Amid Angelina Jolie Divorce

Could a reunion between Brad Pitt and his former wife, Jennifer Aniston, be looming?

Following news of Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing, rumors have continuously swirled in regard to the possibility of a reconciliation between Pitt and Aniston, with whom the actor parted ways in 2005 amid allegations of an affair with Jolie.

As fans will recall, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were cast alongside one another in 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and during production, despite Pitt being married to Jennifer Aniston at the time, he and Jolie fell in love. Then, just weeks after Aniston filed for divorce, Pitt and Jolie went public with their romance during an outing with son Maddox, now 15, in Kenya.

While Maddox had only been adopted by Jolie at that time, Pitt later became the child’s adoptive father. In the years that followed, he and Jolie also adopted Zahara, now 11, and Pax, now 12, in addition to welcoming three biological children Shiloh, 10, and Vivienne and Knox, 8.

As Pitt and Jolie’s family grew like wildfire, Jennifer Aniston slowly returned to dating and was linked to the likes of Vince Vaughn, Harry Morton, Gerard Butler, and John Mayer before the start of her romance with Justin Theroux in 2011.

While working on their hit comedy, Wanderlust, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux struck up a romance. In August of 2015, they were married at their home in Los Angeles surrounded by several close friends and family members, including Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Lisa Kudrow, and more. Since then, the couple has been focused on their careers, and Aniston has not yet welcomed any children.

That said, they have faced numerous rumors claiming Jennifer Aniston is pregnant, the latest of which came over the summer after photos of the couple in the Bahamas seemed to show a baby bump.

Also over the summer, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were said to be heading for divorces at the very same time. In August, Gossip Cop shared a report from In Touch Weekly, which claimed Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie had been “dumped at the same time.”

“Not again! Jennifer Aniston faces more heartbreak as her second marriage crumbles,” claimed the outlet.

Jennifer Aniston “really laid into” husband Justin Theroux after an allegedly disappointing anniversary celebration earlier in the month.

“She called him out for being a grump all week and for ruining what should have been a blissful time together,” said a rumored friend.

Then, the source continued, Jennifer Aniston “got dumped. They have spoken since, but only briefly and curtly. Jen was devastated. It’s over.”

The outlet also said Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt had reconnected before a source denied the report to Gossip Cop.

As for the new rumors claiming Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt could soon reconcile, the latest comes from iTech Post, which also suggested Aniston may have caused the breakup between Pitt and Jolie in mid-September.

“Jennifer Aniston can’t seem to get a break from every Brad Pitt story. Twitter was crowded with false allegations that Aniston was the cause of the break up and tons of memes and jokes were widely spread through the internet,” the outlet revealed to readers.

The news site went on to reveal that over a decade after their scandalous divorce, which was plagued by cheating rumors, Pitt was finally ready to apologize to Jennifer Aniston for the way their marriage ended so many years ago.
