Vicki Gunvalson Campaigning For Gretchen Rossi To Come Back On ‘RHOC’?

Vicki Gunvalson has been on The Real Housewives of Orange County for years and she’s gone through several friendships throughout the years. First, she was friends with Tamra Barney and then they had a falling out. Then they became friends again and now Tamra is questioning Gunvalson’s honesty once again. When Vicki was filming with Gretchen Rossi, they could not get along because they were so different. These days, they have become great friends as Rossi hasn’t been on the show for years. It sounds like Gunvalson struggles to keep her friendships while filming the show, which can be difficult for her.

According to a new Radar Online report, Vicki Gunvalson could be planning to get more of her friends back on The Real Housewives of Orange County as she has lost several of her friends throughout the years. Many sources have revealed that Gunvalson loves having Kelly Dodd on the cast because they have really clicked as friends. And Kelly seems to defend everything that Gunvalson does.

“Vicki loves Kelly more than ever because Kelly is fighting Vicki’s battles for her,” an insider has revealed about Vicki Gunvalson and her new best friend on the Real Housewives of Orange County cast.

When Vicki Gunvalson started filming this new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Gunvalson had no friends. Many of her co-stars were questioning her honesty and her motives, as the ladies felt that she had lied about the Brooks Ayers cancer scandal last year. Gunvalson kept saying that she had done nothing wrong and her co-stars could contact Brooks if they wanted answers about his illness. But Kelly Dodd, the newcomer to the cast, had no beef with Gunvalson and they quickly became friends.

“Vicki stands behind everything that Kelly says right now because Kelly says almost what Vicki is thinking,” the source has told Radar Online, adding, “As far as Gretchen goes, she and Kelly have continued to hang out a lot and become even closer friends.”

Kelly has clearly become one of Vicki Gunvalson’s biggest fans and she will often step in to defend her in regards to the other cast members. And it sounds like Gunvalson wants more of those people on the cast, as many of the other ladies are friendly but skeptical of her. Outside of the show, Gunvalson has made peace with Gretchen Rossi and she has been campaigning for her followers to accept their friendship.

“Kelly is really pushing for Gretchen to come back to the show next season because she and Vicki both feel like she would be a good person to have on their side,” a source has revealed to Radar Online, sharing that this could be a huge behind-the-scenes scheme to really change the dynamics of the cast next season.

It’s no secret that Vicki calls The Real Housewives of Orange County her show as she has been on the show since it started years ago. She’s filmed 11 seasons and one can imagine that she will keep coming back as long as Bravo issues a contract to her. But one can imagine that she wants more of her supportive friends on the show. Rossi has continuously said that she’s done with the show, but Andy Cohen once hinted that Gretchen and Slade Smiley begged him to come back on the show after they were fired. Maybe he will reconsider these days, as Vicki and Gretchen are now friends.
