Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Divorce News: His Life Is ‘Empty’ Without His Kids

Brad Pitt is reportedly more distressed than ever as he and Angelina Jolie continue on with their divorce and battle over the custody of their six kids.

According to a new report, Brad Pitt is feeling understandably lonely as his children remain with their mother.

“Unfortunately, [Brad Pitt] could use all of his old friends right now,” a source told Hollywood Life on October 3. “He feels like his life is completely empty without the kids. The house feels big and empty and far too quiet. Brad is still really torn up about everything. He is desperate to finalize a custody arrangement with Angie but there is no way he’s going to agree on anything but equal custody.”

Brad Pitt is currently living in his former marital home with Jolie in the Hollywood Hills while Jolie is living in a rental nearby with Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight. Jolie moved to Malibu and then rented a home in Hidden Hills after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19. According to a Hollywood Life report, the Hidden Hills home rented by Jolie is owned by actress Denise Richards and will be costing Jolie a whopping $30,000 each month.

Brad Pitt’s wife filed for divorce on September 19 and requested full physical custody of their six children due to what she claimed was her desire to keep the kids safe. In her filing, Jolie claimed Brad Pitt was drinking and possibly using marijuana, which prompted an anger issue within him. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt will reportedly fight for joint custody.

“Those kids are [Brad Pitt’s] life and he’s going to fight for them,” the source explained.

After Jolie filed for divorce, Brad Pitt was targeted with a child abuse investigation and kept from his kids for weeks. Then, on October 8, he saw some of his children during a supervised visit. Although it has been noted that Brad Pitt’s visit with his kids wasn’t attended by all of the children, the names of those not included in the visit weren’t given.

Brad Pitt was placed on a supervised visitation schedule after agreeing to a “temporary” custody plan on September 30, which gave Jolie full custody of the six kids for three weeks. Once that agreement expires, Child Protective Services can either impose new rules or send the estranged couple to court.

Brad Pitt is currently being investigated by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services after he reportedly became intoxicated during a plane flight from France to Los Angeles on September 14 and allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with son Maddox. Five days later, Jolie filed for divorce after two years of marriage and 12 years together.

According to a report by Us Weekly on October 13, Brad Pitt’s future visits with his children may be monitored as he continues to undergo random drug and alcohol testing.

“[Brad Pitt] will cooperate in any way he can to see the kids,” a friend of Pitt’s told Us Weekly. “By agreeing to this, he can see them, which is what he wanted.”

“People from both sides hope that the two sides will reach a longer-term agreement on their own,” the insider continued. “The hope is that this period of time will lead them to be able to resolve things without the involvement of the courts.”

So far, Brad Pitt has not filed a response to Jolie’s divorce filing.
