NFL Expert Picks Week 6: San Diego Chargers Vs. Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks Vs. Atlanta Falcons Highlight Week 6 NFL Picks

NFL expert picks for Week 6 begin with the San Diego Chargers vs. Denver Broncos. The Week 6 NFL picks also include the Seattle Seahawks vs. Atlanta Falcons in a game that will directly affect how the playoff seeding shakes out this season. An updated report from ESPN states that the NFL experts at the network feel the Broncos will beat the Chargers on Thursday, October 13. The game will be an important one within the AFC West standings, as both teams really need to emerge with a victory.

The other AFC West teams also play this weekend, with the Oakland Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs taking place on Sunday, October 16. The NFL expert picks are a bit split on this game, with five favoring the Chiefs and four favoring the Raiders at ESPN. The fans disagree with that prediction, siding with the Raiders in an important home game. It’s possible that fantasy football owners with a lot of Raiders on active rosters shifted that vote a bit.

Oakland Raiders Defense

There are many one-sided games in Week 6, with the NFL expert picks coming out unanimous in several matchups. It includes the Buffalo Bills beating the San Francisco 49ers, the Tennessee Titans beating the Cleveland Browns, the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Miami Dolphins, the Houston Texans beating the Indianapolis Colts, and the Arizona Cardinals beating the New York Jets. Several other games would have been unanimous, but analyst Merril Hoge went with some underdogs.

Merril Hoge is the only ESPN NFL expert who feels that the Atlanta Falcons will beat the Seattle Seahawks and that the Dallas Cowboys will beat the Green Bay Packers this weekend. The Falcons and Cowboys are on the road in very tough stadiums, but his predictions could also be a way to catch up to the leaders in predicting games correctly for ESPN. KC Joyner leads the way with a 48-29 record, compared to the 44-33 record of fans and the 43-34 mark that Hoge has so far.

The Week 6 NFL expert picks at CBS Sports have also been revealed in a new report. The analysts there are evenly split on the San Diego vs. Denver game, showing that it might be really competitive on Thursday night. They are also evenly split on the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears game on Sunday, where the Bears are hosting in a must-win situation. To really keep fans guessing, the CBS analysts are even split on the game between the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.

One place where the CBS analysts completely disagree with the ESPN analysts is on the Oakland vs. Kansas City game. CBS is predicting that the Chiefs win this game on the road and secure an important divisional victory. There is also one CBS analyst (Jason La Confora) who feels that the Cleveland Browns will beat the Tennessee Titans this weekend.

Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Bradford

The undefeated Minnesota Vikings (5-0), are one of only two teams with a bye in Week 6. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers also have the week off to try to find a healthy running back. That leaves 15 games for fans to enjoy, with the Week 6 NFL expert picks suggesting that there will be a lot of very close ones. That might not include the primetime game for Monday night football on October 17.
