Miley Cyrus ‘Flirty,’ Reminds Blake Shelton Of Gwen Stefani On ‘The Voice,’ Is Gwen ‘Furious’?

Miley Cyrus has turned The Voice into a platform for her unique style, joining Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys as a coach on the singing competition this year. But are Miley’s flirty ways on The Voice causing problems for Blake in his off-set relationship with Gwen Stefani?

Gwen isn’t a coach on The Voice this season, but she’s still part of the behind-the-scenes drama because of her relationship with Blake, according to OK‘s insider.

“When Miley turned up rocking Gwen’s signature blonde beehive for The Voice’s promotional photo shoot, Blake thought she looked adorable and texted Gwen a quick snap of her look,” shared the source.

Stefani “was already annoyed with” Cyrus, and the photo of the 23-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer just made matters worse, according to the insider.

“Gwen was furious. She’s already suspicious of Miley’s flirty ways, and dressing like her younger self really set off the warning bells.”

Also, Blake created one of what Us Weekly terms The Voice‘s five “weirdest moments” with the revelation that Cyrus reminds him of Stefani.

It occurred when Miley got tearful in selecting Sophia Urista over Lane Mack during the first battle.

“I’m not made for this,” declared Cyrus. “I’m too soft.”

That’s when Shelton made his confession, revealing that Gwen “cried every day” when she was a coach. But despite that comparison, Blake didn’t show empathy toward tearful Miley.

“Stop crying,” he scolded her. “You’re ruining your reputation.”

Cyrus tried to get tough.

“I know!” she admitted as she dried her tears. “I’m supposed to be heartless and punk-rock.”

Cosmopolitan pointed out that Cyrus turned around and chastised Shelton for some of his comments on The Voice. The scolding occurred after Miley paired up Ali Caldwell with Courtnie Ramirez, getting help from stunning mentor Joan Jett for the battle.

Cyrus acted like the ultimate stage mom, cheering for her “girls” and even doing hand motions to encourage them. Tearful with pride, Miley had enough emotional stamina left to scold Blake when he compared Courtnie to a rooster.

“That’s not something women wanna be called,” Cyrus informed Shelton.

But it wasn’t that type of banter that allegedly caused Miley to be cut off the guest list for Blake’s and Gwen’s reported upcoming wedding.

Blake wants to invite all of the coaches on The Voice to his wedding with Gwen, but Stefani isn’t on board with the all-inclusive plan, according to a source cited by Ace Showbiz.

Gwen does not desire to have Miley participate in the ceremony, and consequently is “arguing” with Shelton over the guest list. Why is Blake’s girlfriend so determined to exclude Cyrus from the list? The insider explained that Stefani is concerned that Miley might “upstage” her when she’s tying the knot.

“[Gwen] worries Miley could wear or do something to upstage her [at her nuptials].”

But Shelton wants to follow the type of protocol that Miss Manners would approve, contending that etiquette calls for the couple to extend an open invitation to Cyrus and all of the other Voice coaches.

“[Blake] thinks it would be very awkward if Miley were the only cast member not to be invited,” revealed the source. “Blake asked if they could just invite her to be polite, but Gwen doesn’t want to. They can’t agree on what to do.”

Sounds like a stressful situation, but according to Gossip Cop, the alleged battle between Stefani and Shelton over Cyrus is fiction.

The story that Miley’s presence at the wedding is a “question mark” because Gwen does not “want her at their wedding” is incorrect because no wedding is planned, Stefani’s representative told Gossip Cop, which also revealed that the couple is not even engaged. As a result, the alleged battle over the wedding guest list does not exist.
