‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Could Another Stark Reunion Be On The Cards?

It has been a long time since the Starks have all stood together in the same room. However, things could be set to change in Season 7 of Game of Thrones.

Spoiler alert: This article discusses Seasons 6 and 7 of HBO’s Game of Thrones. Please proceed with caution if you wish to avoid spoilers.

At the beginning of Game of Thrones, the Starks were a huge family that looked set to climb their way to the top thanks to their regal stature and their compassion for those around them. However, as soon as Ned Stark (Sean Bean) lost his head, the Starks became a fractured group.

For a while, many people in Westeros thought most of the Starks had been killed off in Game of Thrones. Robb (Richard Madden), his unborn child, and his mother, Catelyn (Michelle Fairley), were all slaughtered by the Freys. Of the younger children, Sansa (Sophie Turner), Arya (Maisie Williams), Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright), and Rickon (Art Parkinson), it was assumed the boys had been killed by Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen). Sansa was either being held by the Lannisters or married off to Ramsay Bolton. Ayra was an unknown. However, being the youngest girl, she was less of a concern in regards to the game of thrones going on in Westeros. The last Stark, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), was considered a bastard and therefore, not a problem. He was also a member of the Night’s Watch so he could not claim any Stark ties any longer due to his obligations at the Wall and Castle Black.

While fans of Game of Thrones love the Starks and have followed their journeys through six seasons, it seems Season 7 might be the one in which all of the tribe reunites.

The end of Season 6 of Game of Thrones saw Sansa Stark reunited with Jon Snow. Fans of the show the world over rejoiced as Sansa and Jon met up again and joined forces to help bring down Ramsay Bolton. Another Stark almost joined them. While the reunion between Sansa and Jon was emotionally joyful, for Rickon Stark, he managed to sight Jon before Ramsay killed him. As they say, Game of Thrones is not a show you watch for the cheerful storylines. A happy scene is usually always followed by a scene sad enough to wipe out the joy of the previous one.

Meanwhile, further north, over the Wall, Bran had been having visions and now knew that Jon Snow was actually the offspring of Rhaegar Targaryen and Ned Stark’s sister, Lyanna. This means Season 7 of Game of Thrones will likely see Bran trying to return back to his family and to alert Jon about his actual parentage.

Thanks to some sneaky photos taken on the set of Season 7 of Game of Thrones, it seems like this could happen.

The above images first came to the attention of Game of Thrones fansite, Watchers on the Wall. The images were taken on set in Northern Ireland and show Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead Wright in the same makeup trailer. While this hardly screams the pair will be reunited in Season 7 of Game of Thrones, it does mean they were both on set on the same day, indicating they could be filming together. It was also reported on Watchers on the Wall that Kit Harrington was seen in the same location that day.

So, let’s speculate on what might be happening here. Assuming the three were on the same set on the same day is a fair indicator that scenes were shot together. So, it could mean that Arya, now that she has reclaimed her identity from the House of Black and White, could return home to Winterfell. This is further instanced by another image taken of Maisie Williams on set in an outfit reminiscent of the Northern attire. It is also similar in style to an outfit Bella Ramsay (who plays Lyanna Mormont) was photographed wearing on set as well.

Isaac was not photographed in costume, so it is unclear how his storyline will unfold in Season 7 of Game of Thrones. Alternatively, Isaac could have just turned up on set that day to chat to his fellow cast mates and this image means nothing at all.

But, assuming he was on set to work, could that mean Arya and Bran will return to Winterfell at the same time? Could they meet up with Sansa and Jon there as well? Only by tuning into Season 7 of Game of Thrones will reveal all the answers.
