Kim Kardashian Ill After Paris Robbery Trauma? Here’s What Khloe Shared

Kim Kardashian may have taken ill as a result of her traumatic experience in Paris where masked men held her at gun point, tied her up, and stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry. While Kim Kardashian has been under a lockdown of sorts ever since the incident, her little sister Khloe Kardashian revealed during her interview in the The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she wasn’t doing very well.

This is the first time that anyone from the Kardashian family has spoken publicly about the horrific incident that Kim had to go through.

Kim Kardashian Unwell: First Words From Family After Robbery

“I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her. But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.”

The interview, which aired on Tuesday, also revealed that the reality star family that is most widely known for their show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, is going through a tough phase right now and is looking into why the Paris robbery happened and how they can stop another incident like this from happening.

According to People, Kim Kardashian was in her apartment at the No address Hotel in Paris when masked men broke in at 3 a.m. last Monday (October 3). They tied up Kim Kardashian at gunpoint and took away about 11 million worth of jewelry, leaving the reality star traumatized. If she has taken ill after the incident or is even psychologically scarred after the horrifying experience, it is no surprise.

Social Media Presence To Be Scaled Down

Obviously, Kim Kardashian has gathered her whole family around her during a time when she must understandably be feeling extremely vulnerable. Ever since she got back to the safety of her home in Los Angeles last Thursday, she has maintained an extremely low profile. Her lockdown in the house is giving her time to recuperate and spend some time with her children and the rest of the family.

In her interview Khloe Kardashian also shared that Kim may actually be mulling scaling down her online presence where she famously shares almost every life incident through her many social media portals, including details about her location and jewelry, according to Time.

“I think it’s just a wakeup call to make a lot of life adjustments. This is a really serious matter for Kim. I think that’s really personal, as to that emotional terror [and when] you could move on from that. It’s a wakeup call for all of us, but definitely [the focus is] just to make sure our sister is okay.”

The robbery has left such a huge impression on Kim Kardashian that the star has not even resumed filming after the incident. Production of the family’s reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has been halted for now though some sources say that only Kim has taken an off from work while the rest of the family is still filming.

Lockdown Continues

Meanwhile, Kanye West, who had cut short his New York tour to be with his wife, is continuing the Canadian leg of the tour. He is slated to perform in Winnipeg on Wednesday.

Kim Kardashian now has a new security team to offer her better protection. Her mother, Kris Jenner, has brought her daughters together during this time of lockdown to discuss how they should handle the situation and what changes they need to make to take precautions for the future.

Meanwhile, Kim’s Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram remain silent for now though her sisters did resume posting.

While it remains unclear whether Kim Kardashian is actually ill or just unwell, the lockdown and her sister’s revelations make it clear that she is under tremendous stress due to the robbery.
