‘Married At First Sight’ Season 4 Spoilers: Lillian Worries Tom Will Ask For Divorce In Finale

Out of all the three couples in Married At First Sight Season 4, Tom Wilson and Lillian Vilchez seemed like they had the highest chance of making their marriage work and ultimately staying together until the end. Since the beginning, Tom and Lillian have always been attracted to each other physically. They were also the first MAFS couple to consummate their marriage. Will the couple decide to stay married come decision day?

In an interview with The Knot, Lillian Vilchez revealed that having similar interests with Tom Wilson definitely made their marriage easier. Although their lifestyles are very different, they relate to each other on so many levels. As they were both admittedly stubborn and opinionated, Lillian admitted that these posed problems during the early stages of their relationship.

“We both like to be right, and it comes to a point where it’s not even about the initial conversation – it’s about ego.”

The good, however, definitely outweighs the bad in their relationship. While they had a few fights here and there, as seen on the recent Married At First Sight Season 4 episodes, Lillian shared that Tom would always make up for it. The 24-year-old realtor added that Tom never fails to make her feel special.

“Tom is all about the little things that make me feel loved. For example, he always opens the car door for me or randomly brings me flowers. In the morning, he kisses me goodbye; he tends to wake up earlier than me, so before he leaves he comes into the room, and even though he thinks I’m sleeping, he will give me a kiss. I look forward to that kiss every morning!” she shared.

Although Tom and Lillian clearly have feelings for each other, the Married At First Sight Season 4 couple has yet to drop the L-word. Lillian explained that after all that she has been through, she cannot help but put her guards up. She shared that being in love is something that she needs to take her time with and Tom respected that.

Even though there are only two weeks left in the experiment, Tom and Lillian never talked about the decision day. While there is definitely chemistry between them, Lillian told the site that the last couple days leading to the finale were “emotionally draining.”

“I wanted us to be on the same page with our decisions, but we also needed space and time to think. What if I wanted to stay married and he asked for divorce or vice versa? It was an emotionally draining last couple of days.”

In the last episode of Married At First Sight Season 4, “To Love and to Cherish,” Tom Wilson and Lillian Vilchez were slowly starting to feel the strain of the impending decision day. Although Tom had been nothing but a kind and supportive husband, Lillian cannot help but worry about what his decision might be.

“It makes me scared and worried that Tom will, out of left field, just say that he wants to get a divorce. That would really hurt me because I really see myself falling in love with my husband,” she said.

Meanwhile, for Tom, after seeing how Lillian could be so occupied with work, he was anxious about what the future holds for them. Being a laid back guy, he hoped that Lillian could be able to fully accept his lifestyle.

“What scares me the most is Lillian might not love me for who I am. I’m scared of getting hurt. I can definitely see myself falling in love with her but I want to just know that, no matter what, this marriage is more important to her than her job and that she’s committed as I am,” Tom said.
