Is Billy Bush Taking All The Blame For Lewd Conversation With Donald Trump?

Is it possible that Billy Bush is taking all of the blame and all of the punishment for the lewd conversation between him and Donald Trump regarding women that was recently leaked? Deadline speculates that the career of Billy Bush appears to be “toast,” while Donald Trump, on the other hand, is continuing to campaign to become the next president of the United States.

At this time, just about everyone in the United States is familiar with what is being referred to as the “Trump Tapes” which feature recordings from 2005 of Billy Bush and Donald Trump having a very lewd conversation. It was just last week, before the second presidential debate, that the tapes were leaked. People all over social media have been describing the words Donald Trump used during the recording as “lewd,” “sexist,” “offensive towards women,” and “vile.” Some even argued that Donald Trump was describing acts of sexual assault while he was talking to Billy Bush.

“Grab them by the pu**y,” Trump said. “You can do anything. And when you’re a star they let you do it.”

The aftermath of the leak of the lewd conversation between Donald Trump and Billy Bush has been rough for both men. USA Today reports that Donald Trump supporters – including politicians and celebrities – have been dropping like flies since the recording of the lewd conversation between the men was released. Despite continuing to lose more and more supporters, Donald Trump refuses to drop out of his race for the White House. According to CNN, the RNC isn’t bothered by the lewd conversation Billy Bush and Donald Trump had as they continue to stand behind the presidential nominee.

In the recording of the lewd conversation, Billy Bush can be heard laughing as he hears Trump talk about being so famous he can do whatever he wants – sexually – with any woman he pleases. Trump also revealed to Bush that he tried, but was unable to get in bed with Bush’s co-host.

Billy Bush is recognized as one of the most important on-air personalities for NBC News. He was being groomed to be the new host-in-chief of The Today Show. NBC, however, started to get low marks for dishing out virtually no punishment for Bush after the recording was leaked by the Washington Post. In fact, it wasn’t until Sunday, according to Deadline, that the network announced Billy Bush’s suspension.

NBC News SVP Noah Oppenheim assured everyone that NBC did not take what Billy Bush did lightly with a carefully worded memo regarding his suspension: “We’ve all been deeply troubled by the revelations of the past 48 hours” and “there is simply no excuse for Billy’s language and behavior on that tape.”

While Donald Trump is just one step away from becoming president of the United States, NBC has no plans of Billy Bush returning to The Today Show at any point in time. Is it possible that the career of one man who participated in this lewd conversation may be over while the other man, who did the bulk of the talking during the recording, may very well become the next president of the United States?

The unfairness between the way the lewd conversation between the men is impacting Donald Trump’s campaign versus Billy Bush’s career certainly isn’t going unnoticed by celebrities, politicians, and just everyday individuals on social media platforms such as Twitter.
