Watch Mexico Vs. Panama Football Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video Link For Tuesday’s International Friendly Match

Fans can watch the Mexico vs. Panama football match live online and see which team comes out on top in the Windy City friendly match and a preview of next month’s World Cup qualifying game.

While there are a slate of World Cup qualifying matches across the globe this week, Mexico and Panama will meet for Tuesday’s match in Chicago with little more than bragging rights on the line and perhaps a chance to tune up the rosters ahead of November’s more important qualifying matches.

The teams will meet in Chicago’s Toyota Park for a 8:30 p.m. CT (9:30 p.m. ET) start, marking El Tri’s first-ever appearance at the park. For the Mexican team, it is a chance to build on the 2-1 win over New Zealand in Nashville last week and also a chance to prepare for their World Cup qualifying match against the American team on November 11.

Those who watch the Mexico vs. Panama football match live online will also be getting a preview of a much more important match next month. After the Mexican team takes on the United States, they face off against the Panama squad again four days later in a match that could be critical to the hopes of both squads.

Despite the grueling match that will come next month, both Mexico and Panama appear relaxed going into Tuesday’s international friendly match. Mexican coach Juan Carlos Osorio traded praise with Panama coach Hernan Gomez ahead of Tuesday’s match, with each displaying plenty of mutual respect.

“I think Panama has a man of football with a lot of experience leading it,” Osorio said (via Sporting News). “He’s participated in World Cups, he did a great job with Colombia, Ecuador, now with Panama, so Hernan’s word’s are very well received.”

Gomez even defended Osorio after the Mexican team’s stumbles in recent months, including a blowout loss to Chile in the Copa America Centenario.

“Every national team manager is criticized, very criticized, because it’s the entire country surrounding one team,” Gomez said. “Talking politically, you go to jail, talking about religion, there’s a problem, but anybody can talk about soccer with anyone and there’s no problem.”

“The Mexican national team coach has the best soccer in this region. He has very good players, full stadiums, a domestic league that’s very nice, Mexico is a grande.”

It has already been a slower start than normal for El Tri, noted. While the Mexican national team is quite at home playing across the United States and often arrives in American destinations to crowds of fans waiting at the airport, there were none to meet them when they arrived in Illinois this week.

But the noted that this could be a good sign for the Mexican team, which may be in need of some adversity ahead of the World Cup qualifying match.

Osorio said he believes the El Tri squad is coming together and moving toward making the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“It’s a great opportunity to turn the situation around,” Osorio said (via ESPNFC). “We know exactly what has happened in Columbus in the past. We’ve analyzed not just the games, but also the goals conceded.

“I consider that if we have our players healthy and playing regularly in their clubs… We’ll have a very good national team with every possibility of going to Columbus, representing Mexico with dignity and competing for a result,” the Mexican coach added.
