A new report from blogger Reality Steve indicates that contestant Elizabeth Sandoz is one of 25 or more ladies who pulled up to the Bachelor mansion in Los Angeles when filming started last month.
Although there was some chatter about producers bringing on one or more contestants from a previous season of the Bachelor, Steve revealed on Tuesday that the girl everyone will be talking about is someone Nick hooked up with before the show. Us Weekly hinted that Nick’s former fling was cast for the show, it was Steve who revealed exactly who she is and what happened between them.
Elizabeth hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, but she grew up in Nebraska, where Jade (Roper) Tolbert is from. Most fans know that Jade was a contestant on Chris Soules’ season of the Bachelor and then went on to meet her now-husband, Tanner Tolbert, on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2.
Earlier this year, ABC aired Jade and Tanner’s wedding on The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love special. Of course, Nick Viall was there to film the wedding because he’s sort of a fixture within the Bachelor franchise, but Bustle reports that Elizabeth played a more important role — she was Jade’s maid of honor.
Steve states that Nick and Elizabeth had sex the night the wedding was filmed, but they didn’t speak to each other again until she showed up at the Bachelor mansion last month. That had to be a little uncomfortable for Nick considering the last time he saw her was when they had a one night fling.
“Wait, I though Nick was the kind, sensitive one that only saved sex for that ‘special’ person?” Steve writes. “Please. Might be the most laughable thing this guy has ever said on TV.”
It’s not clear how much of her conversations with Nick and the other contestants will be edited — or edited out — when she is on the show, but Steve is confident that she does bring up the fact that she met Nick before the show.
Whether Elizabeth spills the details about their hookup is unknown at this point, but spoilers indicate that one of the girls goes to Nick to talk about the girl who played a very brief – and intimate — part of his past.
How long does Elizabeth last on the show, and does she have a shot at getting the final rose? Here’s the scoop.
Her time on the show was reportedly just slightly longer than her one-night stand with Nick. Reality Steve’s spoilers reveal that she filmed the first episode and then made it on to a group date in L.A., but he sent her home without a rose during the Episode 2 rose ceremony.
It will be interesting to see how awkward their interaction is when Elizabeth comes face-to-face with Nick on the Bachelor season premiere. One thing is for sure: He is not up for a do-over with Jade’s best friend.
The Bachelor Season 21 starring Nick Viall premieres January 2, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
