Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton’s Relationship Has Strengthened In Recent Weeks Despite The Distance Between Them

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may be busy with their careers at the moment, but that doesn’t mean their relationship has been placed on the back burner.

As they enter their second year of dating, Gwen Stefani is focused on her kids, who recently returned to school in Los Angeles, and her ongoing tour, which concludes on October 16. Meanwhile, Blake Shelton continues to film the 11th season of The Voice with his co-stars, including his longtime friend and fellow singer Adam Levine.

Although the couple is quite busy these days, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are going strong, and one particular report claims their relationship has actually improved due to the distance between them.

“[Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] are a very strong couple, all is going really well between the two,” a source told Hollywood Life on October 10.

“Not being together on The Voice right now and with their individual touring schedules it has actually made things better,” the insider continued. “They definitely have had a absence makes the heart grow fonder vibe. It was great to be together for the start of the relationship, they worked so well together, then having some distance has helped the relationship even more. It is as if all things are going perfect.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began dating about one year ago, and they went public with their romance during a visit to Nashville, Tennessee, where Shelton attended the Country Music Awards before traveling to a nearby after party with Stefani at his side.

At the time they went public, Gwen Stefani was fresh off a split from her former husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, and Shelton had recently parted ways with Miranda Lambert after four years of marriage.

“When [Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] have more time in about a month and a half for each other it is going to make being back together consistently really great,” said the source. “They are on an amazing wavelength right now, their relationship is very healthy.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been going strong ever since they went public in November of last year, and as time has continued, they’ve been frequently seen with Stefani’s three sons, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2. They’ve even spent time at Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma as a family.

As Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship continues, the pair has been faced with ongoing rumors regarding a future engagement and a future pregnancy, and while they have not yet announced any such thing, the rumors appear to be pressing on.

Last week, Life & Style published an issue that featured a photo of Gwen Stefani on the cover along with a proclamation of her alleged pregnancy and plans to be a “pregnant bride.”

“Blake Shelton is set to become a first-time dad (and third-time husband!) with Gwen Stefani by his side,” a magazine source informed the outlet. “Over the past few months, [Gwen Stefani] has been planning a blowout Christmas wedding and trying to get pregnant.”

The source went on to reveal that friends of Gwen Stefani said she was pregnant because the singer has been eating a lot of carbohydrates, which she only does when she’s expecting. The source also said that Gwen Stefani would not want to be an unwed mother at the time she gave birth, which is why she was allegedly planning on being a pregnant bride.

In response to the Life & Style report, a rep for Gwen Stefani told Gossip Cop that the story was untrue.
