Miley Cyrus Quitting ‘The Voice’? Feud Rumors Stumped By Tremendous Team Talent

Is Miley Cyrus quitting The Voice? Rumors that the pop singer might be vacating her coach’s chair before the current season of the show wraps have been circulating for several weeks. With reports from unnamed sources telling sites like OK Magazine that Miley is unhappy on the show and that she’s being ridiculed by Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, it’s hard not to believe that the thought of quitting has come up.

“It is such a different vibe right now,” an “on-set source” told Radar Online two weeks ago, referring to the relationship between the coaches this season. The site points out that everyone was fixated on Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s relationship last season, but now things are completely different.

If Miley Cyrus was quitting The Voice, chances are she would have done so by now. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Miley is actually doing well this season when it comes to the talent that she has on her team. In fact, some people actually think that #TeamMiley could actually win Season 11!

That said, there seems to be a lot of mixed feelings about Miley Cyrus on The Voice. Some fans of the show think that she’s a great addition and that she adds some serious spark to the panel. Others can’t stand Cyrus on the show and think that she’s too loud, too obnoxious, too tacky, and just too out of her element.

According to Cosmopolitan, Miley Cyrus’ personality is different and it did cause some issues when the show first started filming. The report indicates that fellow coach (and The Voice OG) Blake Shelton actually criticized Miley for talking too fast — and too much.

“It’s not all fun for our Miley though. The other coaches, mainly Blake, are criticizing her ability to speak so fast and so much. The occasional hit-maker won’t have it; when she has a chance to speak directly to camera, she drawls, ‘They can make fun of me for taking fast, but I think people can feel my enthusiasm.'”

For many of the singers on the show, Miley’s “enthusiasm” comes through loud and clear — and they love it. Team Miley currently consists of Karlee Metzger, Lane Mack, Courtney Ramirez, Ali Caldwell, Aaron Gibson, Khaliya Kimberlie, Sophia Urista, Darbi Walker, Sa’rayah, Charity Bowden, Josette Diaz, and Maye Thomas. Fans have their favorites (Ali Caldwell and Charity Bowden are high on that list) and many would love to see Miley add The Voice Season 11 winner to her resume.

Miley Cyrus quitting The Voice mid-season would cause her to break her contract and could get her into a lot of legal trouble — something she most likely doesn’t want to deal with. Regardless of what’s going on behind the scenes (there are rumors of feuds with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton), Miley seems to be getting more and more comfortable as a coach on the show and, whether you like her or not, she is pretty talented.

Many feel that adding Miley Cyrus to The Voice‘s coach panel was a risk, but if she wins this season, the risk would have been totally worth it. There is always that chance that NBC won’t invite Miley back next season (or, if Christina Aguilera comes back, the season after), but who knows? She definitely stirs the pot and gets people talking — and people are watching. So, maybe this “risk” was a good one overall.
