It’s a fantasy romance all about time travel
Lee Je-Hoon is set to play a wealthy real estate agent who time travels using the subway, according to Drama Beans. His time travel skills have allowed him to amass the wealth he enjoys with his wife.
Shin Min Ah plays his better half, a former child actress in her early thirties who believes that her best days are behind her. She now works as a little known photographer who lives in the shadow of her more successful husband. Her world turns upside down when she finds out that her beloved husband has the ability to time travel.
The upcoming drama will be directed by Yoo Je Won, who has become known for “quirky” dramas like High School King of Saavy and Oh My Ghostess. It was written by Heo Sung-hye, who known for penning kdrama Full Sun and film All About My Wife.

Tomorrow With You has gone through lots of ups and downs
The upcoming drama series suffered a lot of setbacks which caused it to be pushed to 2017. First there was a struggle to cast the lead actors. Actor Lee Min Ki was set to play the lead role but he was forced to pull out, Drama Beans reported at the time. According to Drama Beans, Min Ki was not open to considering the drama because of his military service obligations in Busan.

He’s also been dealing with the repercussions of a sexual assault lawsuit that was filed against him this year. The charges were eventually dropped, but the negative press may have discouraged him from wanting to deal with all the attention of promoting a new kdrama. As for Tomorrow With You’s leading lady, Han Ji Min was originally offered the role, but she dropped it, which led to further delays as the production team searched for a new lead actress. Good thing, Shin Min Ah was available.

The drama will be 100% pre-produced
According to Drama Fever, all of Tomorrow With You’s episodes will be pre-produced before the series premieres in 2017. Filming started in September and the kdrama will eventually air on Fridays and Saturdays.
