Selena Gomez Spotted For The First Time Since Canceling Tour, Where Is Justin Bieber’s Ex-Girlfriend?

Selena Gomez has been seen for the first time since canceling her “Revival World Tour” due to symptoms of lupus, including panic attacks, depression and anxiety. On Saturday, a series of photos of Selena Gomez and several fans surfaced online and quickly, the #SelenaIsBackParty hash tag began trending on Twitter.

According to a report, Selena Gomez chose to reenter society with an outing at the Texas Roadhouse in Alcoa, Tennessee, on Saturday for lunch after announcing she would be taking some time off over one month ago.

“[Selena Gomez] enjoyed herself and was there for a late lunch,” an eyewitness told E! News on October 8. “She couldn’t have been more gracious to everyone and to the fans and was more than happy to take pictures with whoever.”

During her time at the restaurant, Selena Gomez posed with numerous fans and staffers at the restaurant and even took part in a Twitter video clip.

Weeks ago, Selena Gomez announced her “Revival World Tour” would be coming to an abrupt end as she tended to her mental health struggles. The announcement came just weeks after the singer and actress was involved in a feud on Instagram with Justin Bieber, her on-again, off-again ex-boyfriend.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” the 24-year-old explained in a statement to People Magazine on August 30. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off,” Selena Gomez continued. “Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”

Selena Gomez has faced rumors of a stint in rehab in the weeks since her announcement was made. One particular report, via Radar Online, suggested that the facility the singer chose was located somewhere in the woods in a “secluded” area, but didn’t reveal where that area was. The outlet also told fans at the time that while Gomez would be entering into a 60-day treatment plan, she and other patients would be allowed to leave the facility as a group for day trips.

“The rehab has a Christianity-based track, which might have been appealing given her religious background,” a source alleged. “Residents are allowed to leave as a group on occasion for day trips to the surrounding area.”

Prior to Selena Gomez’s statement to People Magazine, the singer and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, came to blows on social media due to a photo he shared of himself and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, whom he has since split from.

After taking note of Bieber’s photo, which included a caption in which he threatened to make his account private due to his fans being mean to Richie, Selena Gomez called out Bieber for his threat and reminded him that his fans have been there for him since day one. Bieber then fired back at Gomez for using him to get attention and she responded by reminding him that she forgave him after he cheated on her “multiple” times during their romance years ago.
