Bangladesh Cricket Live Stream: 2nd ODI Vs. England, Start Time, Team News As Tigers Fight To Keep Series Win Streak Alive

The Bangladesh Tigers find their backs against the wall in their One Day International cricket series against surging England, as they fight for a series-leveling victory in the second ODI — a match that will stream live on Sunday from Bangladesh.

Unfortunately, though England played well in the first ODI on Friday, Bangladesh can only look in the mirror to assign blame for the 21-run defeat, only the second time the Tigers have dropped an ODI bilateral series opener since suffering a 3-0 away defeat against West Indies in August of 2014.

Since that wipeout, Bangladesh have won six ODI series in a row, all at home. They lost a series opener to South Africa in July of 2015. But with the frustrating defeat to England Friday, the Tigers face the possibility of seeing their series win streak snapped. In fact, the loss was only the third in a bilateral ODI series in their last 21 matches.

But coming off a shaky performance in a 2-1 series win over Afghanistan, their first ODI action after a 10-month layoff, Bangladesh still showed plenty of rust, with sloppy cricket both in the field and at the batting crease.

Bowling first after losing the coin toss, Bangladesh fielders dropped three catches, including two by Mosharraf Hossain, and allowed three more catchable balls to fall safely as fielders got their signals crossed.

England took advantage of the extra wickets to push on to a total of 309.

To find out how to watch a live stream of the second Bangladesh vs. England ODI in Bangladesh, the United Kingdom and Ireland, or the United States, see the streaming links at the bottom of this article.

First ball is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, Bangladesh Standard Time at Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the country’s capital city of Dhaka. For fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland, the match gets underway at 9:30 a.m. British Summer Time.

In the United States, the live stream starts at 4:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 1:30 a.m. Pacific.

Bangladesh, powered by a maiden ODI century from Imrul Kayes, appeared poised to chase down that daunting score, needing only 39 from the last eight overs and four balls with six wickets in hand. But from that point, the Bangladesh batting simply collapsed, losing all six for only 17 runs inside of the next seven overs.

Jake Ball, the 25-year-old debutante England pacer, had something to do with that Bangladesh disaster, taking a five-wicket haul, including the game-ending wicket of Taskin Ahmed.

Watch the post-match presentation, featuring interviews with Ball, England Captain Jos Buttler and Bangladesh Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza in the following video.

For Bangladesh, Mosaddek Hossain and Mosharraf Hossain appear likely to be dropped from the Tigers’ XI after uninspiring outings on Friday. For England, Jason Roy and wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow both suffered injuries and may be forced to sit out the second ODI.

Here are the projected teams for Sunday’s match.

Bangladesh: 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Imrul Kayes, 3 Sabbir Rahman, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (wicketkeeper), 5 Shakib Al Hasan, 6 Mahmudullah, 7 Mosaddek Hossain, 8 Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), 9 Mosharraf Hossain, 10 Shafiul Islam, 11 Taskin Ahmed.
