Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid End Fashion Month Relaxed, But Anxiety Is Still A Concern

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are posting pictures of themselves relaxing, and it appears that Fashion Month has finally closed leaving the couple feeling happy, according to Mirror.

Naturally, it is good to see Zayn Malik looking relaxed because he was supposed to play a concert in Dubai, U.A.E. on October 8, but canceled due to his ongoing anxiety issues, according to People. Instead, Zayn Malik spent most of September following Gigi Hadid around the world since it is one of her busiest times of the year due to her career as a supermodel.

Now, following Fashion Month and being supportive of Gigi Hadid on the runway, Zayn Malik is being called one of the “most influential people in fashion” according to Independent, and is one of 500 people on the Business of Fashion list.

Alternatively, Zayn Malik might not think of himself as attempting to become a fashion influencer, and he is often described as Gigi Hadid’s “dutiful” boyfriend while attending Fashion Month events. In fact, Zayn Malik might be using Fashion Month as a way to get closer to Gigi Hadid’s family.

For example, Daily Mail notes Bella and Gigi Hadid’s brother, Anwar, was seen hanging out next to a Givenchy runway with Zayn around October 3.

Regardless, Zayn Malik apparently hates the word celebrity, and on September 27 stated the following, according to High Snobiety.

“I think it’s a dangerous road to go down, thinking of yourself as a celebrity, because then you somehow automatically think that label makes you superior to other people. Some people just want to hang around you because they know your name, so they think that means they know you, and I can see through that bulls*** a mile off.”

Of course, this statement about being a celebrity might be a sign of more to come because Zayn Malik is getting ready to write an autobiography, according to Billboard.

Adding to this, Rolling Stone writes on September 13 that Zayn Malik stated the following about his autobiography.

“I’m going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says.”

One other issue that Zayn might talk about in his autobiography is his struggle with anxiety. Not only are fans concerned about Zayn Malik, but also other celebrities.

For example, BBC reports that Olly Murs recently opened up about how he feels sorry for Zayn Malik because of his issues with anxiety related to solo performances and stated the following.

“[Anxiety about performing] is definitely one of my worst fears and my heart goes out to Zayn… I feel for him, because he did seven or eight worldwide tours and he always had friends around him. Now, he has that daunting anxiety [of] having to come out on stage without those other guys around.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, it may not matter if Zayn Malik is doing a tour or playing concerts because he has been making other business opportunities for himself.

For example, Zayn Malik has a new fashion collaboration with shoe designer, Giuseppe Zanotti, coming up, a line of clothing merchandise, and a new television show about boy bands that Zayn will contribute to.

Regardless, Zayn Malik may eventually need to address the future possibility that his anxiety issues might not be resolved enough for him to tour.

Worse, there are rumors that suggest that Zayn Malik might get dropped from his RCA Records contract because he keeps canceling shows and might not get picked up for the 2017 festival season, according to insiders.

UnReality TV writes that those close to Zayn Malik allege that he “barely commits to any promo time” and that sales “have tanked.” Although “big festivals still want him,” the recent cancellations are causing his record label to get worried and there is a possibility they will pull him.

About the future, Zayn Malik insiders stated the following.

“They understand he has issues and will help him with them, but that can’t go on forever.”
