Tim McGraw To Tour With Faith Hill: ‘Humble And Kind’ Singer Appears With Faith Hill At Ryman Auditorium, Announces Soul2Soul World Tour

It was like something out of a dream. As Tim McGraw and Faith Hill emerged onto the stage at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, the 23,462-seat theater was nearly full. The venue is a historic one, known for having hosted the Grand Ole Opry from 1943-1974. Today, though, it will make history for a different reason: it will be known as the place where Tim McGraw and Faith Hill first announced their upcoming world tour. The Soul2Soul II Tour is something of a sequel to the original 2007 tour by the same name, and will feature both performers at locations across the United States.

On The Road

As USA Today will tell you, the Soul2Soul World Tour starts April 17 (2017) in New Orleans and, appropriately enough, will end in Nashville. You can grab pre-sale tickets for Hill and McGraw’s tour starting on Friday, October 14, 2016.

As of right now, the first two events are the only ones eligible for pre-sale; the other dates have been announced, but pre-order info is unavailable. At the concert in Ryman Auditorium, Hill and McGraw also performed their 1997 hit “It’s Your Love” before making the announcement.

Faith and Tim’s concert also has VIP packages available, which include a reserved front row seat and a meet-and-greet with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw themselves. VIP Packages go on sale the same date as pre-sale tickets. Their cost isn’t listed on the website. The VIP packages come in Ultimate, Signature, Gold, and Silver flavors.

Back2Back

Next year’s Soul2Soul World Tour marks the 10th anniversary of Faith and Tim’s Soul2Soul II Tour, as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution found. The initial tour was clearly successful, as it was the highest-grossing ever in country music. McGraw and Hill are also going to be recruited as mentors for the upcoming season of The Voice.

Tour Teaser

Tim and Faith also released a teaser trailer for the Soul2Soul Tour on YouTube. The 1:05-minute-long trailer includes footage from the artists in the recording studio and shows Tim in concert. It also shows both country legends walking through what appears to be a concert arena before the start of a show. Like any good teaser, it reveals just enough without telling too much.

If you’re drooling over every little tidbit of info, you can also check out McGraw or Hill’s websites, which have details on tour dates. You can also sign up for the dynamic duo’s tour newsletter at the Soul2Soul Tour website to keep abreast of all the latest information and get details on VIP packages.

The website even lets you watch a video of the announcement from the Ryman Auditorium. If you’re interested in tickets, better keep your heads up; the videos have already had millions of viewers.

Locations

Hill and McGraw’s tour will touch on several big-name locales, including the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on October 27, 2017, and the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. (October 13). You can subscribe to notifications for any or all of the tour dates by clicking the handy “Notify Me” box next to each listing. You can also tailor the email newsletters to your interests, selecting to just get info on Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, the tour, or all three.

Tampa Bay Times mentions that the last Soul2Soul Tour ended in Tampa Bay in 2007. Since then, Faith has had the opportunity to be the face of Sunday Night Football, and McGraw has released his hit song “Humble And Kind.”

Tim McGraw — whose real name is Samuel Timothy McGraw — has been on the country music radar consistently for many years. Before “Humble And Kind,” his song “Highway Don’t Care” with Taylor Swift was climbing the Billboard charts, and he is a household name for many country music fans.

Hill, meanwhile, released a Christmas album called Joy To The World in September 2008. The album featured Faith covering classics such as “What Child Is This?” and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” and putting her own southern touch on them.
