Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Trying For A Baby The Old Fashioned Way Ahead Of Their Christmas Wedding

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are trying their hardest to have a baby.

In the midst of wedding rumors, the country crooner is reportedly trying to get Stefani pregnant the old fashioned way without using any means of birth control.

Will Stefani get pregnant before the wedding?

According to The Hollywood Gossip, the couple isn’t waiting for their wedding to start a family together.

Instead, they are trying to expand their family using any means possible.

“They’re actively trying to start a family,” an inside source shared. “They’ve never been happier or more in love.”

An insider even told Life & Style that the “No Doubt” alum is willing to get married while pregnant.

“[Stefani] has no problem walking down the aisle while pregnant,” the source stated. “She sees how amazing Blake is with her kids and she told him she wants to give him his own child.”

Despite their old age, the couple is willing to do whatever it takes to have a baby.

“No matter what, Gwen wants the child to be hers and Blake’s baby together. She’s ready,” the insider revealed.

Rumors of a pregnancy have not been confirmed, but Hollywood Take is reporting that Stefani is not planning on having a baby anytime soon.

In fact, Shelton hasn’t even popped the big question, let alone started the process of having a kid.

“They are not engaged yet,” an insider said. “Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, though. It seems the timing just hasn’t been right. But Gwen is very, very happy with Blake. She always acts giddy when she talks about Blake.”

Whatever is happening behind the scenes, it is clear that Shelton and Stefani are more in love than ever before.

Stefani just turned 47 this past week and is currently working on a new animated show for Nickelodeon, Kuu Kuu Harajuku.

“Happy Birthday @gwenstefani and congrats on the debut of @KuuKuuHarajuku!!!!” Blake Shelton wrote on Twitter.

According to People, Stefani’s new show centers on four Harajuku girls who start a band and, of course, fight crime.

“I love that this is an animated series for young girls that celebrates creativity, imagination, and individuality,” Stefani explained. “I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”

Stefani was previously married to Gavin Rossdale before ending their marriage last summer. The couple had three children together, Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, two.

Shelton was most recently married to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert and doesn’t have any kids of his own.

Apparently, Shelton has quickly become a father figure to Stefani’s boys, who are eager to see their mom tie the knot.

“She loves that he’s such a family man,” an insider revealed. “Seeing Blake with her kids just makes Gwen fall in love with him even more.”

Stefani was recently asked about tying the knot with the country star during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

DeGeneres asked Stefani openly about when the wedding will take place, to which she replied, “Oh, you’re crazy.”

Stefani didn’t reveal the date of the ceremony, which is rumored to take place around Christmas, but she promised to let DeGeneres know so that she could keep her schedule free.

Apparently, Shelton and Stefani are keeping the details of their wedding under wraps and haven’t told anyone, even their own family, when they plan on exchanging vows.

“They talk about their future and growing old together, but there aren’t specific plans like a dress or flowers,” a source revealed.

While fans wait to learn more about the wedding, Stefani’s new series, Kuu Kuu Harajuku, is set to air every weekday on Nickelodeon, with special Saturday time slots.
