After Paris Robbery, Kim Kardashian’s Former Bodyguard Says Someone Broke Kanye West’s Rule

Kanye West is known for being protective of his wife, Kim Kardashian, so it should come as no surprise that Kanye insists that someone is protecting Kim at all times.

But in the wake of the robbery Kim Kardashian dealt with in Paris, Kim’s former bodyguard Richard Davis, makes it sound as if someone broke Kanye’s rule. The former bodyguard, who now works for The Bodyguard Group of Beverly Hills, told Hollywood Life that there are “no excuses” for leaving Kardashian alone.

I have heard Kanye say many times no one is to ever leave Kim alone. Kanye has emphatically insisted no one is to ever leave her alone unguarded. There is always to be someone at the door 24/7, no excuses. Kanye is obsessed with someone always at Kim’s door. If one of Kim’s family members wants her bodyguard, they are never to take them until there is another guard to take his place.”

On Monday, the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was reportedly sleeping in only a robe when she was pulled from her bed, bound and gagged while jewelry robbers searched her hotel room to make away with her jewels. Kardashian reportedly believed that she would be sexually assaulted or killed before the ordeal was over, but the robbers left the reality TV star physically unharmed.

Instead, the thieves made away with about $10 million in jewelry, including a $4 million ring given to Kim by husband Kanye West.

Why there was no bodyguard at the door to Kim Kardashian’s apartment is unclear, but some believe that the robbery is either a hoax or an inside job. According to Hollywood Life, Kardashian’s former bodyguard Richard Davis believes that the heist was orchestrated by someone with inside information. Hollywood Life wrote the following.

“The fact that Kim, 35, was unprotected when robbers broke into her Paris apartment and held her at gunpoint wasn’t just frustrating, it was also pretty suspicious. Richard said that he’s still puzzled over why Kim was left alone that night, adding that it ‘makes no sense at all’ because Kanye, 39, has always been so insistent about Kim’s security being around at all times. The whole situation has been speculated as an inside job, which is something that Richard completely agrees with.”

According to reports, five masked men were present at the time of the robbery. It took all five men to strong arm the concierge into opening the entrance to Kardashian’s two-story apartment, while only two of the men searched for jewelry in Kim’s room.

In the days since the incident, Kim has been holed up in a New York City apartment and has retreated from public life. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been visited by her mother, Kris Jenner, her husband, Kanye West, and family friend Jonathan Cheban, but Kardashian herself has not been seen since the robbery.

According to reports, she’s not doing so well. An unnamed source for E! News reported that Kardashian is doing the best she can to cope after the robbery, but noted that moving past the ordeal could take some time.

“This is something that has the potential to screw anyone up for a very long time. It was incredibly frightening and it’s going to take a while to get over it.”

To that end, Kim K has postponed an appearance in Dubai while she recovers from the traumatic event.
