Jill And Derick Dillard Back In Arkansas: Are They Staying?
The fans are really curious about what is going on with Jill and Derick Dillard of Counting On. These two have been out of the country, but it looks like they are back in Arkansas with her family once again and it could be for a while this time. The Duggar Family Blog shared a few details about what is going on with Jill and Derick at this time now that they are back in Arkansas along with their son Israel. They have already been here a few months, which is starting to make it look like they don’t have plans to leave.
Right now, the blog explains that Jill and Derick Dillard are having an extended stay in Arkansas. The viewers saw last week on Counting On that Jana Duggar was working on getting their guest house set up to surprise Jill and Derick with it. They were doing things such as changing out lighting and more, so it sounded like the couple would be in Arkansas for a while. There would be no reason to make big changes for the couple to just stay there for a few nights or even weeks. Right now, Jill’s sister Jessa Seewald is pregnant and there are always rumors flying that Jill will be the next one to announce a pregnancy. Being in the United States while trying to get pregnant would be smart for Jill considering the fear of Zika Virus in other countries right now.
Jill and Derick Dillard aren’t just sitting around while they are in Arkansas, though. They are staying busy by working with the local mission organizations. Jill and Derick are also taking seminary courses to increase their knowledge of the Bible. Derick is also working by substitute teaching at Springdale High School. This is not the high school that Derick went to, but he grew up near here.
Fans would love to hear that Jill and Derick Dillard are back in Arkansas for good, but at this time the couple isn’t sharing the details. They have made it very clear that helping in other countries is very important to them, so it would be surprising if they were to decide to stay in Arkansas long-term. For now, the family is enjoying having them around again.
Back in August, The Hollywood Gossip shared that Jill and Derick were back in the United States after a 10-month mission trip. The TLC cameras were there to capture the moment when they met up with family at the airport. This hasn’t aired yet this season on Counting On but should be coming soon considering Jana was getting the house ready for them just last week. Fans are glad to know that Jill and Derick will be on some of the upcoming episodes. Right now, the show has been very focused on Jinger Duggar and her new courtship.
The blog shared a while back that Jill and Derick would be heading back out in the fall. It is fall now, and they are still here, but they could have plans to leave again soon. It was also shared that they would be working remotely with their ministry organization. Jill and Derick probably won’t even tell anyone what is going on until they are already to their destination for safety reasons.
