Kourtney Kardashian ‘Needs More Protection’ After Kim Robbed In Paris Apartment, Glad Kim’s Friend Simone Harouche Was On the Spot

While Kim Kardashian was getting robbed in her Paris apartment, her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were out partying. It’s not their fault Kim was robbed at gunpoint, but they feel pretty bad that Kim’s bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, was out with them to keep them safe while it was actually Kim who needed the protection.

Kourtney and Kendall were at the Paris nightclub L’Arc, with Duvier watching for any problems. They’d only just arrived at the club at around 3:30 a.m. and got the news shortly before 4 a.m. that Kim had been robbed.

People reports that the sisters “were quick to run to her side” as soon as they heard about Kim’s gunpoint ordeal. They probably wished they’d stayed home with her so that her bodyguard would have been there to protect them all from the robbers. E! Online writes that Kourtney and Kendall knew that Kim’s friend, Simone Harouche, was also with their sister, but didn’t find out until afterwards that Simone was okay. Harouche was the one who helped Kim escape after the robbery ordeal.

A Kardashian insider explained what happened at the crucial moment. Harouche, who had been sleeping downstairs, locked herself in her bathroom when she heard the commotion.

“Simone texted [Kim’s bodyguard] Pascal Duvier and Kourtney Kardashian. She couldn’t dial 911 from her phone.”

When the robbers finally left Kim’s apartment a few minutes after Simone sent the texts, she was able to hobble to Harouch even with the duct tape still on her legs and told her “to jump off the balcony to get free.”

Twitter is on fire over Simone’s heroism and the horror of what Kim and Simone went through during the robbery.

Once reunited, all the Kardashian and Jenner family members who were in Paris stayed together and were “placed under police protection at the George V Palace Hotel” until they could safely return to New York and Los Angeles

Now, Kourtney is back in the U.S. and is clearly concerned about the level of security she’s going to need to be safe. The Daily Mail described her arrival at LAX, and Kardashian was well prepared to fend off any attacks.

The oldest of the three Kardashian sisters had several “burly bodyguards” with her who wouldn’t let any fans or photographers near the reality star at all as she made her way through the airport. When they reached the doors, the security detail “cleared a path” for Kourtney to reach her waiting SUV without interference. That’s what getting robbed at gunpoint will do to a person’s sense of security.

Even the wardrobe was “somber.” Kourtney, who kept her head lowered, covered “most of her face with large sunglasses” and chose a plain outfit for the trip, covering up in a “baggy white T-shirt with a black coat, leggings and trainers.”

The fact that Pascal was with the wrong Kardashian sister isn’t helping Kourtney’s feelings of being scared. Who’s to say that the presence of one guard in the apartment would have been enough to stop the attack on Kim?

The Kardashians have got to be super worried, especially since they often flaunt millions of dollars worth of jewelry even on ordinary occasions. Kim’s engagement ring alone is worth $1.25 million, and the diamonds and bling she likes to wear on a daily basis would be a temptation to any robber. TMZ predicts that the entire Kardashian clan will soon be “rolling in bodyguards” everywhere they go.

Many people think the Kardashians and other celebrities should be more careful about wearing expensive jewelry in public. Do you think that’s why Kim was robbed or was it because the robbers knew the bodyguard wasn’t there?
