Are Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Calling Off Their Wedding? She Steps Out Without Engagement Ring
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s relationship has been a hot topic with fans for the past several months.
At the end of last year, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth sparked rumors of a reconciliation after calling off their engagement over 2 years prior. Then, earlier this year, their romance was confirmed and Cyrus soon stepped out with her engagement ring back on.
Although things between the couple appeared to be going quite well in the weeks leading up to the recent premiere of The Voice Season 11, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s romance may have since taken a turn for the worse. According to a new report, Miley Cyrus’ career aspiration and wild on-screen behavior may have led Hemsworth to have second thoughts about tying the knot.

“[Liam Hemsworth]’s really unhappy about this turn of events. He’d hoped [Miley Cyrus]’s Woody Allen TV show might have curbed any desire to go back to her wild stage persona,” a source told OK! Magazine, according to a report by Gossip Cop on October 3.
“It’s a real blow for him because he was willing to do another movie with her and really help build up her acting career. They’ve been having spats and the whole idea that they would get married this summer is completely out the window,” the source explained.
As fans of the couple will likely recall, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth appeared to call it quits in September 2013 due to a wild performance by Cyrus at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. After taking the stage with Robin Thicke, Cyrus twerked on the singer in a nude body suit as she sang a duet of his hit, “Blurred Lines.”
Miley Cyrus reportedly wants to soon get back to “performing and touring,” which has Hemsworth convinced “she wants out,” the source continued, and Liam Hemsworth supposedly wants to end their engagement.
In response to the report, however, a source close to Miley Cyrus told Gossip Cop there was no truth to the story.
While Gossip Cop shot down the report regarding Miley Cyrus’ career coming in between the singer and her actor fiance, Cyrus recently sparked rumors of a possible split when she stepped out in Los Angeles without her Neil Lane engagement ring.

Although the absence of Miley Cyrus’ engagement ring doesn’t seem to be a good sign for her future with the actor, a recent report claimed Hemsworth has been completely supportive of her career and has gotten to know her new co-stars on The Voice in the months since she began filming the series.
“Liam [Hemsworth] has met everyone on The Voice panel and is friendly with them all, but right now he isn’t interested in doing any type of double dating with Adam [Levine], Blake [Shelton] or even Alicia [Keys],” a source told Hollywood Life. “He kind of wants what he has with Miley [Cyrus] just to be their own thing and isn’t interested in broadcasting it and being seen out at a restaurant with other couples.”
According to the report, Miley Cyrus would like it if Hemsworth changed his mind, but at the same time, she respects his wishes and his space and wants him to use his time as he pleases. The source also said that if Hemsworth prefers to spend alone time with Miley Cyrus, she was “perfectly happy with that.”
