Adam Levine And Behati Prinsloo Are Ready For More Kids After The Birth Of Daughter Dusty Rose

Adam Levine is a new dad and already, he and wife Behati Prinsloo are discussing the possibility of further expanding their family.

On October 3, Dose.ca spoke of Adam Levine’s new role as a father, revealing that the Maroon 5 singer had been forced to cancel a show in Montreal due to the recent birth of his daughter, Dusty Rose, who arrived on September 21. Prior to Prinsloo’s due date of September 20, Maroon 5 announced that they were canceling a number of their shows, which have since been rescheduled for dates in early 2017.

Although Adam Levine has only been a dad for about 2 weeks, he and his wife could begin expanding their family sooner rather than later.

“Behati loves being a mom and can’t wait to eventually expand the family more,” an insider told E! News last week. “[Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo] are completely attached to her. They don’t want to let Dusty out of their sight.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo got married in 2014 after about 2 years of dating and shortly thereafter, both parties spoke out about their desires to have a very large family. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest in 2014, just weeks after marrying Prinsloo in Mexico, Adam Levine said he wanted to have more kids than what is socially responsible and speaking to Diana Madison, Prinsloo said she’d like to have a lot of kids as well.

As for the birth of Dusty Rose, sources have spoken out and revealed details of Adam Levine’s special day with his wife.

“Everything went well and the baby is beautiful,” a source told Us Weekly magazine shortly after Dusty Rose’s birth. “They’re a very happy couple and excited to start their family. I can tell you they make very beautiful babies together.”

“[Adam Levine] was in the delivery room holding Behati’s hands. They both cried when she was born. Both families are there now,” a second insider added to E! News. “She is beautiful. She looks like Behati.”

Following Dusty Rose’s birth, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo both shared a photo of their daughter on Instagram. In the photo, Adam Levine was seen with Dusty Rose on his chest. In the caption, Adam Levine shared the child’s name and birth date.

As Adam Levine continues to enjoy fatherhood, he will soon be required to return to the set of The Voice, which will be filming its live shows in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Prinsloo, who recently relocated from New York City to Los Angeles where her husband lives full time, will remain at home with the baby as she takes it slow when it comes to her model workout routines.

While recent seasons of The Voice have featured Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera alternating coaching roles each year, Season 11 of the singing competition has featured two female coaches, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, who are both in their first seasons as coach. As for the fourth position, that belongs to Blake Shelton who, like Adam Levine, has been with the show since it started.

Weeks ago, just days after Adam Levine’s wife gave birth, Shelton’s girlfriend, Stefani, appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, where she revealed she had been FaceTiming with Levine and had seen his adorable daughter.

For more of Adam Levine and his co-stars, including Shelton, Keys, and Cyrus, tune into The Voice Season 11 airing on Monday and Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on NBC.
