Kanye West Halts Show In New York: ‘Family Emergency’
Kanye West was performing at Meadows Music & Arts Festival in New York when suddenly he halts the show 10 minutes prior to scheduled end time. Kanye told the audience that he has to stop the show due to a family emergency, Consequence of Sound reports.
Kanye was not even through his performance of his hit song, “Heartless” when he was stopped suddenly and pulled back by a handler. When Kanye returned to stage, he told the audience that he had a family emergency to tend to.
“I’m sorry. I have a family emergency. I have to stop the show.”

According to Billboard, Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian, as well as Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian, are all in Paris right now.
The Daily Mail has contacted Kanye’s rep, as well as Kim Kardashian’s for comment, but no information has been made public at this time.
People has revealed that it is unknown where Kanye’s children are, Saint, 9-months-old, and North, 3. A festival rep did report just 10 minutes after Kanye reported his family emergency to the audience that Kanye was no longer on site.
On Saturday night, Kanye spent the night partying with Lebron James, as well as other Cleveland Cavaliers players, right before his performance at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
It is unknown at this time what the circumstances are behind his abrupt stop midway through his performance, but we will update this story as soon as more information becomes available.

It has been reported by Billboard that Kanye stopped his show to rush to Kim’s side after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris at her hotel room, according to Ina Treciokas, Kim’s spokesperson.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
Fortunately Kim was not hurt. However, the robber was able to retrieve items worth multi-million’s of dollars, mainly jewelry, her spokesperson revealed.
“The total amount is still being evaluated.”
Kim Kardashian, along side her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, are all in Paris for Fashion Week.
The incident occurred at 3:00 a.m. local time in Paris at a private luxury residence where Kim had stayed once before. It has also been reported that police are currently guarding the residence.

An ex-robber told Fox News how to stay safe and prevent robberies.
His first advice, especially to very wealthy travelers such as Kim Kardashian, is to move around a lot while traveling. Rather than stay in one place, switch hotels or residence every day or two.
Secondly, he advises you to change your walking path. Rather than walking the normal path back to your hotel room, for instance, go a different way. The ex-robber used the example that once he walked across a bridge and through a parking lot to get to an ATM. He noticed a gang watching him and following him from behind after he retrieved his money. Instead of traveling back the same path, he quickly hopped over some dividers to safely make it back to his hotel room.
Unfortunately, Kim was a strong target for thieves in Paris. She has flaunted her jewelry worth millions of dollars on social media and bad news for Kim, she was a planned target.
One more word of advice provided by the ex-robber is to openly reveal that you are staying longer than what you actually are. In this instance, sometimes a robbery will be planned for a date you are no longer in the area. Criminals may feel that they have more time than they actually do to plan the robbery.
