Niall Horan Too Busy For Love: Reveals He Still Talks To His One Direction Brothers ‘All The Time’

Niall Horan admits he is currently single, much to the delight of Directioners across the globe. While the One Direction member was previously photographed while on a date with European Law graduate Celine Helene Vandycke, it appeared that the romance was short-lived.

In a Sirius XM interview, he said that his love life’s “non-existent.” Prior to being seen with Vandycke, Niall has been linked with several ladies such as Selena Gomez, Barbara Palvin, and Melissa Whitelaw. He cited lack of time as the reason why he isn’t currently committed to someone. “I’ve been sitting in studios, so I haven’t had time for that,” he explained.

Niall surprised many when he dropped his first solo track “This Town” out of nowhere. He took to Twitter to unveil his project. Bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson have all congratulated Niall for his single.

Even if Niall is the first in the British group to release a solo track, he tells Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM that the band is merely taking a break.

“I think for the foreseeable, we’re all kind of doing our own thing. Everyone’s enjoying doing their own thing. Harry did the movie [Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’] and I’m doing this and Louis’ got his things going on and so does Liam.”

He maintains that he still talks to all of them all the time. Even if they’re all doing their own things, Niall assures fans that they “wouldn’t rule a reunion out.” When not working in the studio, Niall also devotes his time to honing his skills in golf.

Liam is similarly focused on collaborating with other artists while Louis is making the most out of their break to take care of his son. Harry is exploring his acting opportunities although he has likewise registered several songs that are still unreleased.

Recently, he told Another Man magazine that he’s unsure when would One Direction reunite.

“When we started, people always asked, ‘Where do you think you’ll be in five years?’ It’s a difficult question to answer. I would never say we’ll never do anything ever again but it’s good for us to be exploring different things. Maybe at some point everyone will want to do something again but it’ll be better if it happens naturally like, ‘Hey, we all really want to do this again’. If that were to happen it would be amazing.”

Like Niall, Harry claims that he would never close his doors to a reunion because being in One Direction’s “the most important, greatest thing that ever happened” to him.

Directioners rejoiced when they have noticed a new tab on the band’s website. It was a simple tab, but it was enough to send eagle-eyed fans into a frenzy. The tab, titled “Future Events,” suddenly appeared on the site making fans think that the reunion would happen sooner than expected. Unfortunately, the tab was removed. Nonetheless, One Direction’s supporters remain hopeful because a new line of merchandise was also released.

One Direction’s fan base seems to grow stronger regardless of the naysayers surrounding the boys. Earlier this year, Matt Healy from The 1975 questioned 1D’s “artistic credibility.” He went on to say, “They’re four guys who queued up outside an arena to sing in front of Simon Cowell.”

The 1975’s frontman said that his remark might come off as mean, but he added that he really wanted to get an answer to his question.

Eight months after Healy slammed One Direction, fans are now baffled because The 1975 just covered 1D’s “What Makes You Beautiful” on BBC Radio’s Live Lounge; a move that fans find strange following his comment.
