Ben Affleck Gives Lesson On Post Car Accident Etiquette

Accidents happen. And when you take care of them like Ben Afleck, they tend to go away pretty quickly.

The Argo director was recently involved in a minor car accident in Santa Monica, California. The A-list star was driving when he accidentally clipped a parked car and broke its rear-view mirror.

Other actors, (ahem, Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan) might have tried to avoid responsibility by speeding away or by having a friend take the blame. But not Affleck.

The Oscar award winning actress got out of his car and left a note on the windshield of the car that he accidentally hit.

Affleck wrote:

“Hi, knocked off your mirror. VERY sorry. Will cover everything. Ben.”

He also left his contact information for the other driver.

The actor-writer-director won an Oscar in 1997 for Good Will Hunting. He had a string of hits including Armageddon, Boiler Room, and Pearl Harbor, but his career has slowed down in recent years. But Ben could be getting ready to return to the Oscar stage. His latest film, Argo, has already gathered some Oscar buzz.
