‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Dylan Discovers Sully’s True Identity And Asks Sharon Tough Questions — Can Their Marriage Survive?

The Young and the Restless viewers have been patiently waiting for Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) to find out that his wife, Sharon (Sharon Case), has been keeping a huge secret from him. The Young and the Restless promo reveals that it will all come out during the week of October 3, and has the possibility to end her happy marriage. It is Sharon’s worst nightmare and will be a huge mess for her to clean up. From Dylan to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Genoa City will be rocked by the baby secret. Buckle your seatbelts, Sharon fans, it’s going to be a rough ride this week for Mrs. McAvoy.

CBS Soaps In Depth reports that Sharon has every reason to feel on edge. Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) reaches out to her and reveals that she may call Dylan and Paul (Doug Davidson) and spill Sully’s true identity. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Patty laughs at Sharon because she is living in a fantasy world. She cannot believe she thought that she could keep Sully forever. In fact, Patty seems hell-bent on making sure that Genoa City knows that Sully is not Sharon’s child.

It suddenly gets complicated when Dylan vows to find out the source of the prank calls. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Dylan feels that his wife is being harassed and he just wants it to stop. Sharon becomes understandably upset because if Dylan discovers that Patty is her prank caller, it will lead to more questions. Sharon isn’t prepared to fess up to the truth yet and truthfully may never be ready to admit that Sully isn’t their child.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon wants to tell Dylan the truth before he learns about it from someone else. Her biggest worry is that Patty will tell Dylan and make it seem like she “stole” Christian from Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick. She wants to be able to control how much information Dylan receives, but the secret quickly takes on a life of its own.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that when Sharon goes to see Patty in the mental hospital, she discovers that Patty may have already told someone her secret. Of course, it causes Sharon to panic and decides that it is time to tell Dylan and wonders if it will end her marriage.

“It’s not the secret that will upset Dylan so much; it’s that he was the last to know about it and that Sharon didn’t trust him with the information. He believed they were partners and she should have trusted him. It could be a deal breaker in their marriage.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Patty will meet with Sharon and urge her to tell Dylan the secret before she is “forced” to tell Paul. Patty explains that she doesn’t want to hurt Sharon, but “it isn’t right to keep a baby that isn’t hers.” In Sharon’s mind, she doesn’t see anything wrong with keeping the baby because she believes that she and Dylan are wonderful parents to Sully. Patty refuses to let Sharon off the hook and gives her a set amount of time to fess up or she will tell Dylan or Paul herself. Of course, Sharon is sent into a tailspin and scrambles for a way to keep Dylan from knowing the truth. In the end, by October 7, Dylan will know the truth, and it will rock multiple lives in Genoa City.

Finally after a year of wondering when The Young and the Restless was going to expose Sharon’s secret, the week of October 3 we will learn how the fallout will affect Sharon, Dylan, and Nick. Dylan discovering that Sully isn’t his son is only part of the secret. Imagine how surprised everyone will be when it comes out that Christian isn’t Nick’s son? And, right now, the only person who knows that little tidbit is Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). The real question is: will Chelsea tell Nick that Christian was Adam’s (formerly Justin Hartley) son and not his?
