Selena Gomez Gets Sexy In ‘Trust Nobody’ With Tory Lanez, Cashmere Cat After Justin Bieber War

Selena Gomez is thrilling fans with what some are viewing as her comeback sexy single, the first since announcing that she was canceling her Revival Tour to take a break due to the side effects of lupus, including depression and anxiety, following a brutal battle with her former boyfriend Justin Bieber on Instagram. The duet has that “get up and dance” quality, and is a collaboration featuring Selena in some very sexy banter.

Gomez has been off the grid since canceling her tour, but now, although she does not have any shows scheduled, her new duet gives fans a reason to cheer, noted Teen Vogue.

“Trust Nobody,” a collaboration with Cashmere Cat and hip-hop artist Tory Lanez, also is causing speculation about what’s in store for fans waiting for Selena’s next album. Gomez had hinted about her plans for her next one, and if this collaboration offers a new hint, get ready for some very racy guidance on relationships.

“Trust Nobody” serves to showcase Cashmere Cat’s skills in collaborations, pointed out Billboard.

Norwegian producer Cashmere chose Selena and Tory for the duet, and the grown-up groans of Gomez in the duet make it clear that she’s gone way beyond her Disney days. It also is posed to skyrocket to the top of the charts, with Twitter lighting up with excitement over the sudden success.

ET described “Trust Nobody” as an “upbeat dance track,” noting that it portrays Gomez as a flirting, confident singer who wants to share her bedroom rules.

“I’ma tell you how I need,” croons Selena. “Baby, tell me how you need it, hope you’re good at keeping secrets.”

Her duet partner Lanez responds while providing a compliment.

“You got a body like Selena in them jeans.”

As for who might be the “baby” that Gomez is addressing when it comes to her real life trust issues, she recently revealed in an interview that she has problems trusting anybody following her on-again, off-again romantic relationship with Justin Bieber, according to the Daily Mail.

“I don’t trust anybody.”

Moreover, Selena shared that she gets frustrated when asked about Justin.

“I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life,” she added.

But just a few months after that revelation about repeatedly getting linked to Bieber, Gomez shocked everyone by choosing to leap into his social media battle with his followers over their hostility toward his then-girlfriend Sofia Richie. And when it comes to trust issues, both she and Justin indicated that they struggled by accusing each other of cheating, pointed out Hollywood Life.

The 24-year-old “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” singer posted a comment on Justin’s Instagram, accusing her former 22-year-old boyfriend of cheating.

“Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love,” she wrote.

Bieber then followed up.

“I cheated.. oh I forgot about You and Zayn?” questioned Justin in a reference to Zayn Malik, 23.

Now with Selena’s new song, “Trust Nobody,” focusing on the problems she has in trusting others, is Bieber the one that she’s cautioning that support is critical?

The track is part of Cashmere Cat’s Wild Love album, noted iHeart Radio.

What’s drawing so much attention is the way that the lyrics turn Selena’s trust issues into a steamy topic. Gomez is crooning about the body, with Tory contemplating her views in his part of the verse.

For those craving more, “Trust Nobody” stems from Cashmere Cat’s upcoming album Wild Love, slated for release in 2016 from Mad Love/Interscope Records.

In contrast, the release date for Selena’s next album is not known. She had been focusing on her follow-up to Revival, her hot hit record, prior to revealing her plan to take a hiatus. Although Gomez informed fans in June that she had gotten “very close” to completing her next album, she subsequently announced that she was feeling “extremely unauthentic, unconnected” both to her music and herself.

In August, Selena revealed her decision to cancel the final dates on her Revival Tour in order to focus on her health, sharing her concern about the panic attacks, anxiety, and depression resulting from her lupus.

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off,” she clarified. “Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best.

Gomez also emphasized her desire to help others by sharing her struggle.

“I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”
