Angelina Jolie Gets The Kids, Brad Pitt Restricted To Special Visits In Temporary Deal

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reached a temporary deal over their six children. According to NY Daily News, the separated couple reached a “completely voluntary agreement” Friday which grants both of them joint physical custody of the children. The deal is meant to only last for 21 days, until October 20. After that time the joint custody terms could be renegotiated, extended or handed over to the court system to handle.

Jolie will have full custody of the children, but the World War Z actor will be allowed to visit. His visits will include random drug and alcohol tests as well as an occasional therapist for company. The therapist has the right to deny Pitt any further visits.

It is a condition that Pitt has accepted, according to a source.

“This is an agreement between parents. This is not mandated by the Department of Children and Family Services. This is not a safety order…this is good news for the children. They reached an agreement that is good for the kids.”

The Maleficent actress has accused the Ocean’s Eleven star of having an alcohol and marijuana problem which has been compounded by anger issues. Jolie said it created an unpalatable atmosphere for the children.

Brangelina also agreed to have collective and individual counseling sessions for the sake of their children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

Brad Pitt willfully took part in a drug and alcohol test after allegations emerged that he was physically abusive towards his first child, Maddox, on a private jet from France. The 52-year-old actor had offered a urine sample to the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. The 15-year-old had allegedly stepped in to protect his mother during an argument on the plane.

A source said Brad Pitt took the test willingly in an effort to clear his name and not jeopardize being a continued part of his children’s lives.

“I can confirm he did take the test. The Department of Children and Family Services cannot force you to take a test, so by definition it was voluntary. He takes the matter seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children…its unfortunate people are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”

The case was handed over to the FBI because the incident allegedly occurred in the air. Recent reports reveal that the FBI will not be pursuing the matter any further because there was no physical injury involved. A source said the incident was portrayed in bad light, adding that Pitt “acted like an a**,” but only “made contact” with Maddox “in the shoulder area.”

“While this was not his best moment, its being inaccurately described. He certainly could have behaved better, but there was no physical abuse.”

Angelina Jolie, 41, dropped the bombshell September 20 that she was leaving Pitt after 12-years of celebrity romance. They were married for only two years. Both estranged spouses confirmed the breakup in separate statements. Jolie had cited “irreconcilable differences,” Pitt had revealed he was “very saddened” by the developments.

According to Hollywood Life, Angelina Jolie never fully trusted Brad Pitt around women. They had both agreed not to be involved in movies where they would be kissing their co-stars. In Allied, all that went out the window with Pitt’s co-star Marion Cotillard, 40, as their steamy trailer has revealed otherwise.

Jolie was sure Pitt was fooling around and hired a private investigator to dig up some dirt. The French actress has since set the record straight by saying she is pregnant and the baby is not for her Allied co-star, but with her “love and best friend”— Guilluame Canet.

Canet has called the claims dumb and baseless.
