Chris Brown ‘Welcome To My Life’ Documentary ‘Being Finalized,’ Release Date Info Coming Soon

Chris Brown has remained tight-lipped regarding news of the arrival of his highly anticipated documentary, Welcome to My Life, but according to production company Riveting Entertainment, it looks as though Brown’s controversial project is finally on its way.

It’s been five months since Chris Brown first announced the impending arrival of his Welcome to My Life documentary, having first teased the project with the release of an emotional three-minute trailer back in April and now, it appears that Brown and Riveting Entertainment have nearly wrapped the production process for the film after taking to Instagram on Tuesday to give fans an update regarding the status of the documentary’s completion.

“End credits being finalized today,” Riveting Entertainment revealed via Instagram alongside the hashtags, “#WelcomeToMyLife, #ChrisBrown,” and “#RivetingEnt.”

While the production company has yet to confirm an official release date for Chris Brown’s Welcome to My Life documentary, the firm previously addressed the growing buzz surrounding the film on Twitter by first thanking fans for their patience before revealing that more detailed release information would be coming “very soon.”

“Release info coming VERY SOON!!!” the post began alongside a link to the film’s official trailer on Vimeo. “Thanks for everyone’ patience and support. This is a movie and it takes planning!”

Similarly, Chris Brown further fueled the excitement surrounding the upcoming film by reposting Riveting Entertainment’s tweet on his personal Instagram account, prompting fans to gush over the arrival of the highly anticipated project in the comment section of Brown’s post.

Furthermore, Riveting Entertainment has instructed fans to stay up-to-date with news concerning the documentary by visiting the official webpage for Welcome to My Life, although the film’s release date is still currently listed as “TBD” on the site. The firm further explains that Welcome To My Life will provide fans with an in-depth look into Chris Brown’s “passion for making music,” “his tumultuous and much-publicized relationships,” as well as explore “the pitfalls of coming of age in the public eye.” Celebrities such as Usher, DJ Khaled, Mary J. Blige, Rita Ora, and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few, are expected to appear as cameos in the film and provide “special interviews” regarding Chris Brown’s status as a pop superstar while reflecting on the impact of the singer’s tumultuous, headline-making past on his artistry.

While it’s not clear which medium the film will be available on upon its release, whether it be DVD, online streaming, or a cable network exclusive, recent reports previously suggested that Chris Brown had lost a lucrative exclusivity deal with Apple Music to release the film via its streaming platform, although those reports were never personally confirmed by Brown or Riveting Entertainment.

In addition to his impending Welcome to My Life documentary, Chris Brown has also been teasing the arrival of his upcoming album, Lost & Found (Heartbreak On A Full Moon), which he confirmed via a now-deleted post on Instagram back in May, Rap-Up reports.

While Brown initially referred to the album as merely Heartbreak On A Full Moon earlier this summer, the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer recently added Lost & Found to the title, further fueling rumors that the previously-teased track will likely serve as a single release for the upcoming album.
